I actually had a card to post today - but thought I'd post this picture instead to wish everyone a happy upcoming weekend!
We were sitting outside on the patio this morning and this beautiful Tiger Swallowtail butterfly landed on some Vinca that was sitting on the table right in front of us. It was just begging me to get a photograph of him!!!

It's 1:37am in CT right now and I'm unable to sleep! Not the night for it as tomorrow we're hosting 150 people at our house for a fundraiser!

Ahh... yes... our garden has been blessed with the swallowtails all summer. they are just amazing. I was so pleased that we had planted the butterfly bushes as the swallowtail's appeared to love them.
