Congratulations

I'm sure this had to be a CASE from someone - but don't know who it was as I made the card last year!  So if I've CASEd your card and don't give you credit I apologize.   I've just really been in a slump around here lately and haven't felt like creating much of anything - and then when I do, I'm not liking it!  So today you get to see a card I created last year.

I used the SU set called Go Graduate (and the sentiment is from Well Scripted - also by SU).  The embossing on the white background was done with the Swirls embossing folder.  I've used the "spotlight" technique (sorta) on the middle image - but if you really want to see this technique done right, go check out Jaydee's blog post from Wednesday!  She really made a wonderful card using this technique.

Thanks for stopping by........and hope everyone has a great weekend.
Lynn

I love your card(s)! They are always fun and creative, girl!!!! This one is great, I love how you used the owl and the embossing with the pop with the spotlight. I know what you mean about being creative, I am doing a lot of CASE'ing, can't seem to create, the Mojo is just not there. Maybe because summer is coming.....?

Yipee, thanks for the trick about the name URL thingy. I just made it!!!

I am going through this slump as well - great minds think alike? Lol!

Now to this card... so what if it is from last year... it is wonderful. I love the colour scheme and the funny image of the graduating girl on the top left.

Hopefully this comment will show...

Hugs,

Monica

How adorable! Love the swirls embossed on the white background. Your bow is (once again) perfect! :-) Take a break and enjoy yourself at something else for a bit. The creativity will begin to flow again when you least expect it! Hugz.

Hope my Mojo is with me today, lol...I am off to tackle my current nemesis... The Masculine card for Father's Day.. wish me luck!
