DTD Inspiration Challenge

The challenge this week at Dude Time Doodles is an Inspiration Challenge - AND made it Monochromatic!  Take a look at this photo and see what you can come up with and then head over to Dude Time Doodles and enter for a chance to be named the Top Blog or one of the Top Three!  Plus, I'm sure a prize awaits the winner too.  You're not required to use an image from Boni's store but it MUST be a masculine card.

This was so hard for me it wasn't even funny!!  I kept wanting to add some green or red or yellow - or ANY other color - but a challenge is a challenge.....so .........I used Chef Burley Becky that you can find in Boni's store.  He's a happy little chef and a cute, cute image.  I used some black, silver, gray, and Very Vanilla..and did a lot of sponging!  I added the button and the baker's twine and printed out the sentiment on my computer.

Thanks for stopping by.....and be sure and check out the Dude Time Doodles challenge today.

LOL i totally understand "kept wanting to add yellow or green" hilarious! This happens to me when I am making CAS cards! I just now posted a card, which I really tried to keep CAS but failed miserably!
I love how this has come about! I so love this checkered pattern here. I'll go check the DTD challenge rules and give it a try.

You've done an excellent job with the challenge! Great checker board background that goes so very well with Chef Burly Becky!

I'm with you Lynn, I had a hard time with just black and white. Finally gave in and added a touch of color. But your card looks terrific just as it is and I really like the sentiment too.

WOW! I love this mono you did. Glad you resisted the urge to add color. This is so effective! Your choice of dp is wonderful.

I think you did a fantastic job on the b/w challenge and Chef Becky is a perfect choice, especially with the checkerboard paper you used with him. It's funny, but this was one of the easiest challenges for me - at least this time around :-) .

Looks fantastic and the silver sets it off so well!

This works great for a chef image since they are always in black and white (as far as I've seen) And the black checkerboard paper is perfect too!! My friend who cooks wears b/w checkboard pants!!

I hope you win!!!
