Christmas In July

Well, ho, ho, ho!!!  My card yesterday was a Christmas card and here's another one!  So, we'll have one funny and one that's just pretty (hopefully).  And the best part about this is that I've just completed two more cards for Christmas!

This one is for the challenge at The Paper Players (theme-Christmas in July).and Creatalicious Challenges (sketch).   I've used Dasher from SU and paired it with some of that wonderful Cherry Cobbler that I ran though the Square Lattice embossing folder.  This is matted on some Gold card stock and the image is heat embossed in gold.  I used a MS punch for the "holly" and added several red rhinestones to top it off. I don't have any idea where this ribbon came from but it matches that Cherry Cobbler perfect!

Now I know that tomorrow is Friday - but I won't be posting a Funny Friday then.....I do have a cute one coming up on Saturday though and another one on Monday (that is such a "toot") AND ANOTHER one for Wednesday (that you'll get a "kick" out of)!  Are y'all getting tired of funny cards around here?  Hope not!

Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

Holy cow Lynn... that is one wickedly good bow! I need a remedial bow making lesson and I think you should teach me... it's gorgeous.
Now for the card, that is so pretty. Simple and elegant and I love how you've used that oak leaf punch to make the holly.

Never tire of your funny cards, Lynn! This Christmas in July card is fabulous! There's something about red and gold that just makes it so elegant! I have Christmas cards to post, also, but they don't qualify as "funny". I'll miss your usual Friday Funny this week. :-)

Lynn, this is GORGEOUS. I love the satiny/silky look of the bow against the textures from the embossing folder and the leaves. The Cherry and Gold are gorgeous together. The striped paper at the bottom was a stroke of genius!
Absolutely fabulous! So glad you joined the Paper Players again this week and shared this wonderful creation
