Since I had a "Friday Funny" on Wednesday this week, thought I'd just post a WILD THING card! I know, I know....another red, black, and white card - what can I say!
This is a stamp that I won from the Repeat Impression challenge and when I picked out the image I didn't have any idea what I was going to do with it - but liked it. I like how the card turned out but really wish that I had embossed the black "frame" around the zebra. But this is normal for me - just about every time I get a card done, I see things that I wish I'd done differently. Maybe we're all like that though.
The sentiment is from CTMH and I used the Square Lattice embossing folder from SU on this. The coin was in a box of buttons and goodies that a friend gave me that had belonged to her mother. It was full of coins of all type and some very unique buttons. She was a world traveler and picked up bits and pieces of all sorts of things in her travels.
I'll enter this in the ABC Challenge (Zoo) and Die Cut Dreams #94 Challenge (Animal Antics - animals with four legs).
Thanks for stopping by..............Have a wonderful weekend.
Lynn

Great card Lynn, and I love how you framed that zebra within a frame of zebra stripes! Genius!! Oh, and thanks for the reminder of this song..........now I'll have it in my head all weekend :)
It's a great color combo Lynn and yep we all do that thing where we think of something we could of done after the fact! I always try to just say well, on my next card I'll incorporate that. This is a striking image and I wouldn't have known what to do with it but, you really made it work.

Thank you for popping by my blog. I just love using Copics on Cryogen - love the subtle 'sparkle' of the cardstock.
What a PERFECT use of twine. And what a good friend - to give you a box of treasures!
Thank you again my blogging buddy!
This is great! Love the zebra frame! THanks for playing at ABC!
so awesome, luv the zebra image...hope your day is fantastic!
enjoy *~*
Lynn, this is very exotic with all the black and white. I really like the zebra striped frame and of course the zebra himself, or maybe it a herself.
Love this fabulous zebra design!! Awesome card, Lynn!
What a fun card, Lynn! Love that litte coin accent. I bet there are all kins of fun treasures in that box from your friend. How sweet of her to pass it on to you. :)
Lynn, I love this. I also love that you didn't emboss the frame, I think it would have detracted from the zebra. Love the baker's twine and the button - the perfect touch.

Love this! The frame is perfect 'as is' so you can stop worrying! How fun to receive a box of treasure to play with too!
I like how you used zebra paper to mat around the image as it really makes the zebra pop. I think red, white and black are perfect for this. No wonder you were picked for the top 5 at The ABC Challenge. Congrats!
Hope you will come play in this weeks challenge "A is for Auburn"
Lynn, Don't know if you saw it yet but you took a spot in the Top 5 at ABC Challenge with this one! Hooray! Congrats!
