Another Mouse

I promise you won't be seeing mice every week on my cards - but I just had to do little Cocoa peeking behind that pumpkin for a fall card.  I don't normally send out many cards for fall and Thanksgiving but I love all the colors of fall.

It was my intention to stamp this image and then stamp it again and pop it up....however, after coloring it, I decided it looked fine as it was and I wasn't going to try to color another pumpkin and mess it up.  I sponged a little around the patterned paper and main image with some soft suede and embossed the orange panel.  The sentiment, from Studio G, was stamped in Tangerine Tango (SU) and then I went over it with a Stardust Glitter pen.

I was actually able to get into my craft room a little this weekend and made a couple of cards.  I parked hubby in front of the football games on TV and he didn't seem to want to move a whole lot then!  Bring on more football! LOL!  He's doing pretty good except for me hovering over him all the time!

The sketch I used is from The Sweet Stop (SSS133) and I'll enter this card in their challenge.  I'll also enter it into the Come and Get It Challenge (themed  Autumn).

Thanks for stopping by...........and I'm working on a Funny Friday so stay tuned.
Lynn

Lynn, This card is just so darn sweet. I love Cocoa and Rhubarb is becoming another favorite of mine. Anyway you colored that pumpkin with perfection. I love the paper you picked and the orange panel with the two colors of twine look fabulous. Somehow I missed you last post with the poinsettia and I just saw it now. Yey for the Dollar store. This card is just simply elegant. Wonderful job sponging the leaves and glittering them. Glad you got some crafting time in. A caregiver needs some free time in order to be a great care giver. You and Hubby are still in my prayers and I hope his progress is on track.

You just keep hovering over him, that is just fine, so he can heal and get up and running :) More football coming up on Thursday night :) Love your card, what a cute little mouse, these are ok....great coloring of the pumpkin and that paper is so perfect for a fall card.

I don't know that you could have picked a better DP for this card! Perfect for fall and your sweet lil' mouse is wonderful (so much better than the live kind!) Your accessories and the sentiment tie everything together beautifully! Glad to hear hubby is doing a little better and that you squeezed in some craft time! I'm looking forward to another Funny Friday!

This is really good! The coloring is great! I finished Intro to Copic Coloring and I'm now doing Copic Coloring 1 but I don't think I am as good as you are yet!

I am the Guest Designer at 3 Girl Jam today and they gave me some candy to give away. Stop by if you get a chance. Everybody is welcome!

SUPER, just SUPER! Love the pumpkin and the ease and grace of this card. The sentiment is sweet and simple too. Sponging looks great... gives it a slight bit of vintage appeal. And what nice colouring. The pumpkin looks so real - doesn't need any popping up.

Hi Lynn,
You are such a sweetie and I awe you so much thanks for finding the time to visit my blog and leave such kind comments.

I do not get around to nearly as many blogs as I should, due to the limits that Fibro places on my computer time. Many days I will browse, but can't always type much! When I do feel best, I like to take the time and explain why you do not see me every day!!

Thank you again....you always make my day with you kindness and it's so nice to see your new cards!

Hugs,
Lisa

PS: I think the mice are ADORABLE and with Christmas coming, they'll be lots more...so keep 'em coming!!
