Mousing Around

How about a relaxing little card for today!!  The challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is to make a black and white card.  Oh, how I really wanted to put a big old dollop of red (or yellow, green, purple...) on here but a challenge is a challenge...right!

I used some Paper Studio and Echo Park DP on this card.  The black and white diamond patterned paper reminds me of a bathroom tile floor.....um...oh, well........I added some Stickles to some of the bubbles and lightly tinted this little guys (or gals) fur.   Weird thing about the Stickles I added.....it actually has blue flecks in it yet in the picture they appear brownish.   Strange!   The sentiment is from MFP.  The sketch I used - and you'll be seeing a lot more of this since I LOVE it is from Deconstructed Sketches and I'll also enter this in their challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.....and have a very relaxing day........
Lynn

Great card, you did such a wonderful job with just the black and white! Love the image with the stickles and then the paper is perfect, like a retro bathroom. Love it.

I adore this card, Lynn, and you did such a great job with the sketch! Great paper choices. I HAVE that diamond pattern tile in my bathroom right now! Perfect in an old Victorian house. :-D Tell me, did the bunny mind being told he's a Mouse? I understand all the bunnies and Gruffies are considering a strike because they want the "House Mouse" named changed. Good luck with that one, critters! LOL

This is black and white wonderland! I LOVE the papers and your little soaking mouse is fantastic! The shimmery bubbles were a wonderful touch! I've had the same issues with stickles. They seem to reflect the colors around them, making a whole new color! This is a fantastic layout !

You did a great job on this challenge. I would've wanted to add a splash of color, I guess that's why it's called a challenge. :) I love the bubbles.
