NO........This card is NOT what you think! I just thought it was a little catchy to see "the birds and the bees"...Actually, it's the birds, bees, and butterfly!! LOL In case you're wondering where the birds are, they're on the embossed panel - you just have to look close!
A quick, CAS card for today with a little yellow, white and black to get everyone in the mood for spring! We have the garden all in now - way too much work and a very sore back, but it's finally done. Now we get to sit back and watch it grow - and then all the work really begins, with canning, etc.... We already have butterflies though - just not the bees yet. In fact, some type of little yellow butterfly must be migrating though here right now as there are hundreds of them!
The card is pretty self explanatory.....I added some Liquid Glass to the wings of the bees and used a yellow Sakura pen to highlight some on the butterflies wings.
I'll enter this is the challenges at Tuesday Morning Sketches (Sketch - be sure and check out their blog to see this) and Tuesday Throwdown (Outside the Box).
Thanks for stopping by.................
Lynn

What a gorgeous colour combination! I love the little bee and butterfly tags too. You sound as if you've got everything under control in the garden!
So pretty Lynn! Love the yellow, black & white combo... very striking!
Oh wow, this is a stunning card Lynn. Love the yellow, white and black. A stunning combination. Super layout. Love what you've done with the ribbon. xx
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the bright yellow and your design is so eye catching.
Beautiful card Lynn. It's simplicity and colors are very elegant!
Lynn, Great spring time card. I love those colors together. I had a great outfit once that was black, white and yellow but it was many moons ago and several sizes smaller. LOL I'm glad to hear your garden is all in. The only thing I have in is broccoli and rosemary at this point. We are suppose to, maybe, get snow in two days. This is why we are forced to wait until the end of may to plant most things. Darn weather. Around this time of year I get so itchy for good home grown veggies. It's hard to wait for our season.
Teaching us about birds and bees...We just never know with you, Lynn!
This is absolutely beautiful in these colors! Love the accents on the bees and butterfly!
We are just starting the gardening here. I keep waiting for the weather to get cold, one more time! As much as I grumble about pulling weeds, I would much rather be in the garden than doing dishes!
This is so striking with those crisp colors and the bird, bees and butterflies. Loving the CAS, you me and that area.
This is gorgeous Lynn, I have that embossing folder too and I love the lemon and black ribbon.

Have a great weekend :)
You can't go wrong with yellow, black and white, I don't think. We've got lots of bees and I've seen a few little white butterflies. I loved seeing them on your card.
Beautiful card, Lynn! Love the colours and that gorgeous bow. If it was a Friday, I might have really hesitated about the Birds and Bees title ;D We are still well over a month away from gardening here (still have snow on the ground).
Gorgeous card Lynn, I like the bee's, and butterfly and the ribbons.

"Bee-utiful" Lynn! Love how the color just pops off the white and dimension from the butterfly. Sorry It has taken me forever to pop by and visit...it has been a crazy couple of weeks. Hope you are enjoying the Texas spring...which feels more like an intro to summer lately. Yikes! :)
Lovely card, Lynn! The colors are marvelous together, and the combination of critters you used is so sweet. Makes me want to be out in my garden! Thanks for sharing this at Tuesday Throwdown. :-)
