Saying Hello

Just a quick post as I'm going to ATTEMPT to get some crafting done today!  I say that and something always gets in the way........

I never buy the "In Colors" from SU but broke down and bought one package of the variety a while back - and must say, they're very pretty!  I also got a pack of the Twitterpated DP and it matches so nice with those colors.  I used Pool Party and Lucky Limeade and several strips of the DP for this card.  The butterfly was completed with the Beautiful Wings die and the sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings.  After stamping the sentiment on the Pool Party, I used a Texturz plate for embossing....a very subtle embossing pattern.

Thanks for stopping by..........
Lynn

Very pretty, love these colors and always forget to use them. Loving the butterfly with the banners down the side. Know what you mean about life getting in the way of fun, I have been battling that the last couple of months.

Very pretty! I love the banners, and the embossing adds the perfect amount of texture! I'm with you on the in colors-usually! But I absolutely love the new ones and ended up buying everything to coordinate with the gorgeous DSP!
Hope you manage to get your crafting done!

This is beautiful, love the colors and prints.
I normally never buy the in colors either. What will I do if I love a certain color then never able to buy it again. :)

Very elegant. I do love stamping up! I don't have butterfly anything...but this just inspired me to make the time to get a stamp and die cut. Genious idea to stamp sentiment THEN emboss!
