Thinking Of Snow

About the only place I get to see snow is on a card!  Now I know all of y'all up north are groaning since winter is on the way and you probably will get to shovel some of that white stuff soon, but down here in South Texas, we seldom ever see it.  We got a cold front (a "Blue Norther" as we say down here in Texas) through here on Saturday evening, and I swear I'm freezing my buns off!  Granted it only got down in the low 50's last night, but when you're used to 100 degree weather, this is COLD!

This was quick and simple using a Cuddlebug embossing folder and a snowflake die from Impression Obsession.  I mounted all that white on a piece of blue and kraft, glittered up the snowflake a bit, added a big rhinestone brad, and stamped the sentiment.  As I said, quick and simple........but I have another card completed for Christmas.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday and I'll be back tomorrow with my {Pin}spirational Challenge and Shopping Our Stash posts.

Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

Gorgeous snow inspired card. Love all the white. We don't get a lot of it either here in Tennessee, but every time it does I morph into a six year old hoping school is closed!

I know what you mean about the cold weather. It was 51° when we got up this morning and it's now 48° and raining. Feels like winter and your beautiful card is so appropriate!

Yep, it got mighty chilly here in PA last night too, going down to 47 overnight. It was chilly, rainy and not so nice today, but we'll manage!
I see someone has been doing some shopping for new dies hasn't she?! :) It's such a pretty snowflake, and a great card too!

So crisp and clean!! Love the gorgeous snowflake and the embossed framing! We had our first 10 minutes of snow last week. It melted right away but it won't be long until we are covered in the stuff. I will happily send you some! I always pray for rain.....you don't have to shovel it~LOL

Oooohhh, very pretty. I'm scared to death of white for fear that I'll smudge it or leave marks. :)
