Coffee, Tea, or {Pin}spirational

Before I get into the challenge at {Pin}spirational, I have to confess that  I hate coffee!  Yep, always have and always will.  Now I know some of you are probably groaning and thinking that may be un-American of me or something, but I just don't like anything about it.......sight, smell, taste, etc.....  So when I saw the inspiration photo at {Pin}spirational Challenges, I kept picturing a bottle of water, tea, or a Diet Coke sitting on that swing.

Instead of putting up a post with a diet soda sitting on it, thought I'd pull out a couple of SU sets that I'd never used before and try those instead.  The sets were given to me a while back and I don't have any clue as to why I kept them.  I used the cup from one set and the sentiment from the other one - and I'm going to pretend this is a cup of steaming hot chocolate or hot tea.

Sorry to get off the subject there.......It's time again for another challenge from {Pin}spirational!  Be sure and stop by the blog and check out all the inspiration from the DT.  We're being sponsored this week by Fresh Brewed Designs!  Be sure and enter for your chance to win a wonderful prize package.

Thanks for stopping by............
Lynn

What a cute card even though it is coffee related. I dislike coffee also GMTA I guess. My wake up drink is ginger ale. I used to be Coke-Cola but I had to give up on some of that caffeine. Anyway this is a nice bright card and I love that your used material on it. enjoy your day, Lynn. Happy Thanksgiving.

That made me laugh again, Lynn. I am not much of a coffee person myself, but I do love the smell of coffee. Once we had very close Italian friends come and stay with us and all we could offer them was Nescafe!!!! They must have been really disappointed because they never came again to stay. Lol.
Your card is so cute. The jute looks well matched and the cup of hot chocolate (as you say) is very sweet with a heart on it. Cool sentiment too.
Love,
Monica
PS: Hope vision is slowly adjusting to the new glasses.

Picking myself off the floor after your "I hate coffee!" proclamation. Say it isn't so! Lol! I love coffee and have to tell you that I'm glad you kept this stamp set, because this is one seriously cute card! The burlap is a great touch. Ok, I have to go make some coffee now...Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! :)

Hehehe...you stepped outside of your comfort zone and created a wonderful coffee card! Just look at it! :) Wish I didn't like coffee, but alas, college got me hooked and I'm in no mood to break the addiction. After all, it's supposedly good for a person...in moderation!

Hey, we all have our likes & dislikes. Just because yours are wrong....lol. I can only stand coffee full of sugar & milk - but I drink it every day. I blame the boys. If they had let me sleep when they were little, I never would have fallen for coffee's siren song.
I love the burlap layer - and the gorgeous orange & brown really pop with the white layers!

Oh, I love the bit of burlap, Lynn! I happen to like both coffee and tea, but today it feels like a hot chocolate kind of day so why don't we sit down together and sip some? Would you prefer marshmallows or whip cream? Love the embossed background!

You made a great card from the inspiration photo for someone who hates coffee! LOL I see that picture and I just want to curl up with a warm fire, a hot cuppa coffee and a good book! I love coffee and can't get going without it when I wake up :)
I love that burlap accent which gives this card a real homespun feel!

Totally giggling over the idea of your diet soda instead of the cup of coffee. I'm a total coffee addict, myself and very seldom ever drink sodas (HA)! Of course, you could have always gone with the fall colors or the swing or the book -- hum, thinking I need to get into my craft room -- however, what you did create is lovely. Despite your dislike of coffee, your card is spot on, gal!!

What a cute card and I love the burlap piece - sets it off so nicely! That looks like a nice hot cup of tea to me! I love the smell and taste of coffee - have my own coffee machine so I can drink my cappuccinos!! Yum! I do not like fizzy drinks at all and definitely not Coke!!

Love this card! I don't like coffee either, and for some reason I don't even look at the coffee sets but I love the cards I've seen made with them.

It's a fabulous card. I really like the textures of the embossed background and the strip of burlap. I was never too crazy about coffee myself and don't drink it at all. I'd much rather also have hot chocolate or a nice steaming cup of flavored herbal tea.
