Stitches

If you're looking for some kind of fantastic straight stitching - you're NOT going to find it here!  After attempting to stitch on that curved line about 3 times, I finally just gave up and decided what you see if what you get!  What else can I say!

I used markers to color the stamp and then huffed and puffed and all that kind of good stuff.  I also punched out a couple of flowers and popped those on top of several and added some pearls.  Just a quick way to send a note to someone.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Pixie's Snippets Playground (little flower snippets) and also CAS-ual Fridays (stitching).

Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

What an adorable flower patch with such cheerful colors. Oh, my stitching is terrible and I need to practice...will never stitch a card until I do. And, I have no time for practicing. Ugh!

Great design on this one. And I loved your bumpy stitching. Looks very realistic to me, as the ground is not straight at all. It emphasized the roll of your grass and adding the extra punched flowers over the stamping, yum. Great idea. Enjoyed your post story, I could picture you huffing & puffing, stitching and (what's that other word that helps us sew when it's not working like we want it to???LOL) Great card. TFS & Hugs

The white is PERFECT for these perky poppies! I love this! Mystery of the day: why is it so hard to stitch straight lines on paper!!!!????? Really really cute card - some lucky recipient will smile for days over this one!

Wonderful, cheerful card Lynn - and who said stitching had to be straight?? There are no stitching police in blogland, so feel free to stitch as you want.

It's a fabulous card Lynn - just perfect. Love the little flowers and your stitching is just fine. You're braver than me, I'd have stitched a wavy line first and then trimmed the card or paper down to fit it!
