Valentine's Day is officially over with so that can only mean one thing - Spring is on the way! This will be me in another couple of months and in the mean time there's tilling to be done and getting the garden all ready for planting. We've down-sized so much in the last few years on our planting but it's still always a big job. We used to plant between 50 and 75 tomato plants. This year we say we're only going to plant maybe 24. A week goes by, and we say 12. Another week goes by, and it becomes 6. By the time all the plants are in the ground, it's already back up to about 18 or 24! Keeps me busy I guess but sure is a lot of work.
This is an image from Sassy Cheryl and is such a cutie. I used some "hello sunshine" paper that came in a Simon Says Stamp kit and also some scraps that were on my desk. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers.
Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

Fabulous card! Love the blue and yellow - perfect for a spring card, and the image is so cute. xx
Aw, this is cute, Lynn! Beautifully coloured and so cheery! It's hard to think about spring when we're in the middle of a major blizzard and we already have 3 feet of snow on the ground! But it is a nice thought! And I can't wait! I hate winter!
This is just gorgeous, love the image and fab colours.xxx
Too, too adorable! Such a cute image and your color is perfect! Love the yellow with the blue, very dramatic and eye appealing!
Oh, this is just too cute. I love it. The blackbirds arrived here last week by what seems like millions and yesterday the robins were everywhere. I even thought I saw a golden bell blooming. Soooooo, you're right, Spring is coming before too long. My daffodils are up. But, we're expecting sleet and snow the next few day so Spring isn't here quite yet. I wish had a place to plant tomatoes. I LOVE them. My son used to plant a few here and they were big and awesome tasting. That area is now too shady. We have lots of trees.
I love looking at your card as it reminds me of better days ahead.
I WISH spring had sprung. It may be a while before I can say this little cutie is me outside tilling, planting or admiring my crops. LOL Love the sunny yellow papers and the blue polka dotted paper also. Have a nice day.
Oh! Dare to dream of spring! And tomato plants!!! Those of course won't be planted here until June... so looking forward to our bountiful local farmer's market and your card just is making me hungry for farm fresh foods!
Cute image and you made a really sweet card with it.
Well, I know that I'm pretty much done with Valentine's cards...but it does NOT feel like spring here yet...very cold and windy my way. I am so ready for spring.
What a cute little image Lynn and I love the blue and yellow combo and fab colouring..in my neck of the woods I can feel the Autumn chill in the mornings and later at night so wont be long and I will be moaning how cold it is..but I don't get snow so can count my blessings there..Have a great week.
luv CHRISSYxx

I'm really loving the blue & yellow! And it doesn't feel too springy here today...as of yesterday our snow accumulation for the year was 284 cm (about 9 feet) and we are getting another 2 feet today. Uncle!!
Too cute!! I'm thinking longingly of Spring, as is everyone out here with our feet of snow. Tomato planting seems like a distant memory - but your card reminds me that eventually Spring will come!!
Great colors and that circular wire clip is perfect with the sentiment!
This is so adorable!! What a fun image!! I love the papers you used!! I can't wait until it's time to plant the tomatoes...yum!! Have a great day :)

Valentine's day may be officially over, but when is this brutal winter going to be over?! LOL It's a balmy 13 today in PA with winds gusting up to 35 MPH so I'm BEYOND ready for spring! Cute card with those tilted panels and great coloring too! Love the dsp!
What a cute and charming card, Lynn! You really are the "blue" queen as I see it a lot on your blog and you do it so well!!

Saw this rolling up & knew exactly who it was!! Looks just like I imagine Mr. Farmer does, when he gets ready for plantin'. Such a cute image, (oh wait, this was s'posed to be MZ Farmer?-Right the hat does have a bow on the trim!). Love the bright blues & yellows and I'm ready for spring too. Little swirly clip was perfect on the fishtail sentiment! Cute! TFS & Hugs.
This is so cute Lynn! I adore Sassy Cheryl images huggles Sue xxx
I just LOVE this!! It's so fresh and gorgeous and definitely just Spring-filled!
Awe that is just toooo adorable Lynn!! Love the fun blue and yellow with the cutie image :) Looks like me right now! Its in the 80s and we spent the weekend harvesting and putting up turnips, napa cabbage, kale, broccoli and peas! The tomatoes are loaded but not ripe yet. Getting ready to plant squash, beans and melons now.
OMGosh Lynn, you look adorable in those overalls with your pitch fork!!! lol Seriously this card is adorable and I just love that cute image! You would fit right in here on the farm that's for sure. Love those papers you used on this card, so bright and cheerful! I'm jealous that spring is on it's way to you, but I also know that means work is on the way too. I don't do a garden anymore, but probably should. I love fresh vegies and I loved when it was all canned and sittin' pretty on the shelf for winter! You have colored this cutie up so well and I just love it! Hugs, Brenda
So glad you used a Sassy Cheryl image. I love the colors and agree with Benzi as we live in the same area. Hoping we do not get the snow and ice tonight...Such a cute card. Hugs, joann
Oh my goodness, Lynn... this card is soooooooooooo cute! Love the way you colored the image and your overall design is perfect.
BTW, I wish it were true! Spring can't get here soon enough.
What a cutie - love this Lynn, and the pop of yellow there behind the blues.
I usually only plant three tomatoes :-).
Blessings
Maxine
Glad that you can see the road ahead to garden time. I just see ice , snow and cold for weeks yet. As far as down sizing, Hubby says the same thing. We had such a bad growing season, last year, he said we will buy from farmer's markets. I do love you're spring card and it's fantastic colors. That is a fun image, Lynn!
Oh Lynn ~ I am so ready for planting season!! I love this Spring card is so cute!
Such a precious card, Lynn! I love this delightful image and your fabulous layout!
I had such high hopes for spring and then that cold Texas norther blew through here this morning! I had to go change clothes!
Yay for the planting season!! We are putting in our first garden over here at our new house this year...so we've been trying to plan it out! We are really looking forward to it too!! LOVE your card with the colors and such a darling image too!! The background papers are perfect!! :)
LOVE your Spring card! So bright and cheerful! Can't wait until I can start seeing some beautiful colors in both the front and backyards!
Love that bright, sunny yellow with the blue! And that is a cute image! Gardening is a big job. It's so much easier to "grow it" at the Farmer's Market!
Fantastic card! Love the coloring of this super sweet image.
So adorable :) I love the alternating panels of blue and yellow on the base !
Oh how I love this cute card- loving the image : ) Your Springy colors are wonderful too! Still freezing cold here in the Midwest- March always bring surprises- like snow!
Love that darling image, Lynn! Great coloring and the blue/yellow combo is certainly perfect for spring. I can just see you out in the garden with a straw in your mouth. lol
Your papers go perfectly with this sunny image, and I love the little coil of wire by the sentiment!
We are on our third day off of school tomorrow. I'm hoping spring is coming soon!! I am ready to get in our little garden too!
