Enjoying the Day

After having storms all over Texas the last few days, it's dry once again and time to start watering the plants I'm afraid.

I don't normally use Kraft card stock for a card but thought it'd be a little different and cute for this card.  I used some stamps from Newton's Nook - Garden Whimsey and Newton's Summer Vacation and also followed their sketch challenge.  The patterned paper is from the Welcome Spring pack from American Crafts.  The tiny little charm says "Made with Love".  Both the paper and the charm were gifts from blogging friends (thank you both so much)!  The image is colored with Copics and the sky background with Pan Pastels.

I'd like to enter this in the Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook (sketch).

Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

Adorable card, Lynn! I don't use kraft much either, not because I don't want to but because I have only a few sheets of it left in my stash! I like the little scene you made with Winston! I like the stamped grass and your lovely sky!

Oh, good grief, I MUST buy that sediment stamp since that's how I always sign off! (I'm also waiting for one that says LITS!) This is super cute, Lynn! I have a bunch of those heart charms so thanks for that idea! Wouldn't it be fun to have this little guy to help you water your plants? I think Rambo would be jealous! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell

Lynn, this is a fun card. Like you I don't often use Kraft card stock, but it just fits beautifully with this scene. Love the three papers and the charm. I have been watching for your weather down there all last week and weekend on the Today show. Glad to see that has all passed. Alli is getting a lot of rain on the Appellation Trail too. Enjoy your week.

Kraft looks great here, Lynn and what a sweet image. I love the simple layout that makes the image stand out. The little charm sure means what it says because your cards are sure made with love and fun and humour too.

Hope things are on the mend for you,
