Smile!

Today is Friday so let's see a great big SMILE!

When I was growing up my dad didn't like it as I started eyeing all the boys - which of course I did anyway.  He'd always say to just smile and just keep walking!  HA!  As if that was ever going to work!  I did smile a lot though - and still do.  What better way to start to the day!

Several months ago I got this nifty little tool called a Misti at My Sweet Petunia.  Although I haven't had a lot of time to practice with it yet, one thing I did learn is that it was so much easier to stamp something straight using this!  Even using a stamp-a-ma-jig thingy I would always get everything crooked.  So, for this card I pulled out the Misti and proceeded to stamp the lines of dots.  Worked great and they're actually straight!  Then I used a MFT Smile die and cut that out of black, added glossy accents, and popped it up on a piece of white card stock.

I'd like to enter this in the challenge over at The Crooked Stamper (sketch).  Leslie has great sketches every month.

Thanks for stopping by..........
Lynn

YAY for using the MISTI! I adore mine, and use it every chance I get. I am also SAMJ-challenged, which largely contributed to my blog name. I couldn't do anything straight.

Thanks for playing my CSSC!!!!

Hi Lynn, do love this card and totally impressed with your misti stamping well done. Love the die cut in black too, for real CAS.

One other thing... I had issues commenting on your blog because you have embedded comments. IPad no likee, so now on android using website, rather than mobile site. If you go into:
1. Settings on your blog,
2. Comments section and select "pop up" comments.
This is preferred (saw it mentioned first in Snippets playground) as you can still read post as commenting too, without scrolling down.
However just a suggestion... helps those on mobile devices.
Thanks for popping over,

Even on the best of days I can never get things lined up straight. I do have to say the MISTI intrigues me and I just might have to check it out some day. I like all the gloss on your 'smile' and that you keep on smiling!

Another great card Lynn and I like it because it's so cheery and happy.
Good to hear about the Misti... I've been debating about that so it's always good to hear a positive review.

Love your CAS card and the bright colors. Isn't the MISTI a fabulous invention for those of us who don't do straight!

LOVE those cheerful dots! Had to 'smile' at your story. We get concerned when our girls are smiling at the boys. Maybe I need to add the keep walking part for them!
