Ok, I realize that "howdy-hoe" is probably a little corny - but if you say it a couple of times you'll start laughing no matter what! Nothing like a little smile or laugh to start the day........
The Mr. and Ms. are from Art Impressions and I have to smile looking at them. It reminds me of Jim and I when we had a huge garden....we're talking like 75 tomato plants, row after row of green beans, mounds of squash.....and everything in between. Lots of work but it sure tasted good. Now, I have a raised bed area with one tomato plant, about 10 green bean plants, and 3 cucumbers..........plus they're all dead from the heat in Texas. We've been in a heat wave that just won't let up for some reason.
I'll enter this in the challenge at FarmQuest General Store - anything goes country and the anything goes challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.
Thanks for stopping by.........

Just brilliant Lynn, I love the design. xx
Such a fun card Lynn - that must have been some garden you had!! My gardens are now all raised, but a bit bigger than yours, as they are the family garden, but as ever, I always want a greater area to plant more....
Blessings

Those old farts are hilarious on this card! LOL Great fussy cutting and I love that striped panel you backed them with! Howdy-Hoe is the perfect sentiment for these ole geezers as he's sporting a garden hoe LOL Fun card Lynn, thanks for the smiles :)
Ha! I love this card Lynn! Reminds me of myself and Dwayne as well down the road. LOL Those images are way to cute as is the sentiment. And hey, I say howdy-hoe a lot! LOL Yeah, I'm just an ole country bumpkin for sure. I love how you colored this two up, the sky and grass are done to perfection. Love that striped paper on the side too, love how you used pattern paper Lynn! This heat is hitting lots of areas, Mother Nature sure is peeved with us I think. LOL We are hot, but not as hot as you guys! Hugs, Brenda
They are fun and fabulous Lynn, made me smile and the colorful stripes in the background..I'm starting my first raised garden this spring, well, hopefully I do, I haven't got any dirt yet!!
Luv CHRISSYxx
What a cute couple and they do make me smile, Lynn! Gardens are nice but fresh veggies from the farmer's market or stand are much easier!
Whether this couple is gardening in their backyard or somewhere on the farm, they aren't taking themselves very seriously! :) A wife just has to offer a clever pun to her hubby to check and see if he's listening to her!!!! Your fussy cutting is terrific and the stenciled clouds behind them is a perfect backdrop! And I'm like everyone else that the striped paper just helps brighten and coordinate/repeat all the colors used in your couple, the clouds, and grass. Well done! Thanks for participating at FarmQuest General Store! --Becca

I like your cute card! Great colors on this card!
Oh, Lynn, this is hew-haw funny. Love the couple and love your story about the huge garden you and Jim had. Sounds like what Michele and her hubby are doing this year. How delightful to see you using design paper on a card! Fab cutting on the images. I know I've been MIA but I've had one of those up and down summers and when I'm feeling good, I'm busy in the craft room. Please forgive?
While I'm here, let me say thanks for entering at FQGS. :-D
