I'm dreaming of cooler weather around here. All the Halloween decorations are out in the stores (as well as Christmas) and pumpkins are everywhere. If we put a pumpkin out on the front porch right now, it'd probably explode from the heat. Ah....good old hot Texas weather.........but autumn will be here soon (or we may just go straight into winter). But here you go with a card for autumn.....
The image is from Art Impressions and I've used watercolors on it.....along with some orange paper, twine, and a tiny "autumn" stamp. Super simple.I'll enter this in the challenge at Colorful Options - Outrageous Orange and the challenge at Art Impressions - Falling into Fall.
Thanks for stopping by...........and keep smiling!
Lynn

What a beautiful image and I love the watercolor over it too! Really like how you've done the scallop inlay frame in the orange background as well! Really beautiful Autumn card! We're starting to see little changes in the air over here and slightly cooler. I'm ready for sweater weather too!
What a lovely scene and water colouring Lynn and love the bold orange and twine, fabulous card..hope it all cools down for you soon, we had heat yesterday which nearly knocked my socks off, a promise of temps to come..ugh..

Oh, how lovely!! That cute sweet watercoloured stamp with the script on the edges is delicious and love so much the contrast with that hot, vibrant postage panel inlaid on it's frame! The wrapped twine and bow is a cute detail, as well the tiny label! Super adorable card!
Here it's finally raining a bit, and today the air is more fresh, perhaps Autumn is coming!
Super Autumnal themed card, Lynn. The lovely image is beautifully coloured. xx
Excellent!!!! Great water coloring. Love the stamped image. Beautiful "simple" card.
Hugs and Blessings
A wonderful card Lynn - love your water colouring on the image and how you have finished the card.

Gorgeous autumnal card and image. The weather seems all over the place these days and no set seasons, here last week we were in the hottest weather we've had all year, the week before it was heating on and close to a frost, this week its torrential rain - bonkers. Emmax
This is one very pretty Fall image that you colored so beautifully, Lynn! Love the scalloped edge imprint on the orange cardstock and the added twine and sentiment tag! Hopefully soon things will cool down in Texas and you get to experience some cooler weather before winter comes! :)
I love this older style of an image with the writing all around the edges. It gives a real homespun feel to everything with your soft water coloring, and I love the die-cut orange background too! It's a perfect card for fall with that rustic twine and sentiment too. Beautiful card!
OH! How very lovely, love your scene and colouring Lynn, a gorgeous card.

I know you are going to think I'm nuts, as I do, but there are times I wish our summer lasted as long as yours does. Although I do enjoy these "perfect" sunny days with "perfect" fall temps, I know what is going to follow. I do love winter, it just needs to be much shorter! LOL I don't want much do I?! I had to laugh about the pumpkins probably exploding in the heat. LOL Probably so!
Love, love, love this card! You have watercolored it so well, love the scene because you can never go wrong with a good ole country barn and pumpkins in the field. LOL It really is a beautiful card, love the twine and the die cut orange panel. Hugs, Brenda
What a beautiful card, Lynn! I love your Windows to the World image and you've colored and highlighted it beautifully! Thank you so much for joining our challenge at Art Impressions!
Love the composition of this card. Your color choices are perfect. Have a great weekend ♥
Lovely card!
A beautiful fall card with a lovely scene! Yes, a little too warm yet here in ohio to set any pumpkins out! But, am looking forward to seeing the leaves change in color, so pretty!
This is a gorgeous scene Lynn and you have coloured it perfectly! I think our Autumn is finally here we can say goodbye to a Summer we really didn't have LOL It's been raining all day and now that bitter wind has joined in...even Ollie turned his nose up at going out today!! lots of huggles Sue x
You have done a fantastic job of coloring this little image, Lynn! It is a perfect fall card! It's finally cooled off here. Until the next hot spell!
A beautiful Fall card. Love the lovely scene.
A lovely fall scene and I love how you framed it. A simple bow of twine finished it off perfectly. It is fall here and the first leaf I saw fall was actually the first day of fall. How does it know?
