In Flight

This card really came out pretty good but the photo looks kinda "washed out". I really need to work on my photography skills I think...........oh, well................

I'm not real sure what's going on but it seems like every time I make a card lately, I get it finished, it looks pretty good.......and THEN.....all I can do is criticize it and wish I had done this different, or that different, or whatever. I think maybe I just need to "back off" from it all for awhile - and then, at the same time, I just want to spend all day in the little craft room!

This is for Mercy's Sketch Challenge 56. I embossed the white background with the Birds and Swirls embossing folder. The butterfly is from CTMH and it was heat embossed using Outdoor Denim embossing powder - also from CTMH. I used Night of Navy, White and some unknown brand of patterned paper that I had. I added some pearls at the bottom, the ribbon across the card and the bow on the side.

Thanks for stopping by....................
Lynn

Lynn,I think your card is so pretty.I Don't think you need to back off at all.

I thought I was alone.I criticize mine all the time.I have so many cards that dont even make it to my blog or any where else.LOL!!

Its a lovely card Lynn. I think we are our hardest critics...I don't think it needs anything else.

Lynn, this card is beautiful! I too have to remind myself that it is OK to play and that not every card will turn out perfect! Beautiful is perfect too!

I know what you mean about criticizing though...ive been second guessing myself a lot these days. there must be something in the air!
