Several months ago, a friend of mine and I were rooting around in a local thrift shop (don't you just love those things!) and I found a Flower Press - still in the box and never opened - for $1.00. I could just hardly turn something like that down, right? At the time I still had some blue Salvia blooming so cut a few and "pressed" it. This card is the end result! I also "pressed" some pansies but when I took them out, the petals all separated (I'm still working on getting some of those right). Now I just can't wait for spring to see what other kind of flowers I can "process"!
I used Ballet Blue, Very Vanilla, and Bella Birds DP. I attached the flowers and added the pink satin ribbon. I NEVER make this size card (8 X 3 1/2) but needed it this size in order to have the flowers look right.
Thanks for stopping by...................

I am a thrift shop junky, too! Love what you did with your pressed flowers!
Very pretty and even more special because you pressed the flowers yourself.
