Sailing - Seize the Birthday

We have another Seize the Birthday challenge for you beginning today and need to see your masculine cards.  We're using the same sketch as last week and are sponsored by Paper Pretties.

I used the SU set called The Open Seas on this card for a guy with Very Vanilla and some unknown blue patterned paper.  I also embossed the background with a SU die.  A little twine was added and even did some paper piercing.  No fancy-schmancy here since it's for a guy......not that I ever do a fancy-schmancy card anyway!

I'll enter this in the following Birthday challenges - Ruby's Rainbow, City Crafter, Pinspirational, and Gingerloft.

Thanks for stopping by.........and be sure and check out the Seize the Birthday challenge!

This is fabulous Lynn! I love the clean look and the pop of navy and red is perfect with the twine 'tying' it all together. Great Guy card too.

Hi Lynn, I think Jim will approve of this card... lol. It is a perfect man's card. The embossed paper matches so well. And so does the printed paper. And I hope you had a good time with DD.
Much love,

What a fabulously masculine and elegant card. I love the CAS, bright feel, sometimes male cards get a bit dark. The paper piercing looks great too. Gorgeous. x

Great guy card, Lynn. I always think sail boats are nice for guys even if they don't going sailing. That's just my mindset. How's the painting going? I'm rearranging the craft room and that's almost as bad as painting. Have a good week.

WOW!!! This is an amazing card, well all your cards are awesome, but I am loving the nautical colors and the sailboat in the sepia color. Hope all is well, things are moving along here and busy as usual. Getting ready for my son's college graduation, can't wait. Have a great weekend.
