Loving to Dance

This is just one of the new release images being showcased on the All Dressed Up blog today!  Be sure and stop by there to see all the other wonderful new images!!  This little lady is named Love To Dance and you can find her in the All Dressed Up SHOP.

Very seldom will you see me make a girly type card and even when I do I don't add flowers or things like that to it.  Mainly because every time I do it just never looks right.  I did have some sheer ribbon and some feminine type paper though so thought I'd work with that in mind.  The paper is from My Minds Eye - sorta reminds me of wallpaper!  LOL!!  But, it's pretty!  I colored the image in Copics and then sponged around it with Antique Linen.  The sentiment is from Inkadinkado and was stamped on Kraft paper - which is also the card base.  The little charm was added after attaching the ribbon, bow, and sentiment.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets - ribbon and Kraft paper for the sentiment) and at Sweet Stamps (anything goes).

Stop over at All Dressed Up to see all the new releases. There's also a challenge going on there right now so be sure and check out all the details and enter.

For someone who doesn't 'do girly', you sure aced this one, my friend. She's adorable up on point and your coloring is pretty as is the oval die. I'm loving that paper (got some not used yet!- you're reminding me to hunt it up) and I bought it cause it reminded me of old fashioned wall paper. (prettier than a lot I see nowadays!) Love the delicate pink ribbon trim too. Great work. TFS & Hugs

It's very pretty and it doesn't need flowers to be girly. You've rocked it with this sheer ribbon! I love the background paper too, and yes it does remind me of wallpaper.

Oh, she's a lovely ballerina. She reminds me of my husband's niece. She was so big into ballet and had the long legs and body for it.

Your paper is so pretty and I love the sentiment and added charm.

You did a super job on this girly card...even if you don't do them often. Maybe you should. :-)

I really admire how you can do such a fabulous coloring job with such small images. You must have good eyes and very steady hands. This is really a lovely card. Love that heart charm.

Oh how lovely Lynn! You really do girlie cards beautifully and ought to make more. On the other hand, we don't always have the choice when making cards for family and friends - I just wish I could do male cards like you do as we have quite a few chaps in the family here! She really is a sweetie - off to check out that link now!
