Still puttering along here - and with another card for today. It's a little early for Valentine's Day but always a good day to tell someone you love them.
For the Be Inspired Challenge at the Alley Way Stamps I used the inspiration picture to make my card. The blue/aqua paper is an old scrap that I had from CTMH. It's got a little rust looking brown in it - or maybe that's just rust looking from age! All the stamping on here was done with stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps. The little car is from the wonderful Mrs. Rogers Neighbor stamp set - and is just chock full of cute images! The smoke coming out of the back of the car is from the Ka-Pow set, and the sentiment from the Speak Easy set. The sentiment and smoke were stamped in Versamark Sepia and then clear embossed. The scallop edging was completed with a SU punch on Kraft card stock and then the twine added.
Jim would probably tell 'ya this looked exactly like me driving - but instead of smoke coming out the back end, it'd be rubber flying everywhere!
Thanks for stopping by..........

Go, granny, go! Somehow it doesn't surprise me, Lynn, to hear that you peal out when you drive!! Your card is adorable! And I've loved the ones I've missed the last few days, too! It's hard to keep up with blogging and visiting when there is so much going on in the summer! Enjoy it!! Hugs, Darnell

Too cute, Lynn! You mean you aren't driving a pick up? What kind of Texan are you? :-D I'm wide awake and heading home shortly. Had planned to leave early in the morning but my sleeping hours just seemed to have shifted themselves today so I'm taking off now and will drive through the night. I should be home in about 5 hours. Had a great weekend. :-D
What a cute putt putt card, and I love all the hearts and polka dots! I used to be a speed demon, but boy have I slowed down! Now I let everyone else drive fast :)
This is adorable! Love that little puff of smoke behind the truck! Very clever to do that!

Darling card- loving the cute card and the puff of steam...and imagining rubber flying thru the air and you driving by- waving Hey there neighbor! Be back in a flash! Hehehehe Seriously too fun!!!
Aw, this is another cutie. Love the way you've combined the different stamp sets to create all the goodness on this sweet card. I hope you have a special fella to present this one too. I bet you don't putt-putt like this at all. Loved the scalloped trim & that nice rusty background paper too. TFS & Happy Wednesday Hugs
This sounds more like a zoom zoom, than a putt putt! LOL! Very cute, Lynn.
Such a cute card! I love the hearts "flying" out of the truck!

LOL This card is so cute Lynn! I love, love that paper-rust and all. I am amazed at how you used so many stamps to make this cute card with. That truck/car is just adorable, so love the puff of smoke coming out the back as the truck/car takes off! I also love the scallops and the little tag you have the car on. The hearts are perfect too as is the sentiment. Yes, is always a good time to tell someone you love them. I also love what Jim would say, that would be so funny with rubber flying out the back end. lol Hugs, Brenda
