Summer Loving

I've been so bad lately and haven't been creating much.  Where ever the mojo went I sure wish it'd get off vacation and come home!  It's pathetic when I go back to the cave and sit there just staring at everything and nothing clicks what-so-ever.  I would say that maybe I just have too much stuff to stare at but surely that couldn't be the case at all.

This is a  little different but thought it came out ok. The stamps are from Paper Smooches.  I added a gold enamel dot, embossed the heart, and added some little die cut hearts.  Very clean and simple.  Anyway, there you have it.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More (Clean and Simple) and the Spots and Dots challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

I don't think you know what missing MoJo means. Your MoJo is on fire here. This is a fantastic card. I love that you embossed that heart and the gold and the red really make this card. I will be casing this one for sure. Have a good day.

That gold enamel dot is the highlight, Lynn and the red hearts make it spark. Very crisp and yet so soft and gentle.

When my mojo goes off for a walk, I just look at the stamped images I have and try and work with them.

Hope you are well. We are looking for another apartment as the one we were going to move into has been taken by someone at the last moment.

I am sure we will get a better one.

Love,

M

OKay Lynn, here is what I think we should do. You come stay at my house, I'll come to stay at your house and we will play in each other's craft rooms and get our Mojo back! Do you think our husbands would notice? Mine would take you on a nice boat ride.

I love this card!

Hugs,
Chriss

Too much to stare at? NEVER!! Let's blame it on the heat instead!
I like all of the white space on this one and the stack of hearts is so sweet too!

Doesn't look to me like MoJo is on vacation. I think you must just not be recognizing that He is there. This is darling, and I love the clean cool styling. Super to think of putting the medallion (not sure if it's an anchor but it's purty!) on that heart, with the sentiment and the tiny bright hearts. It's a great card!! TFS & Hugs

Makes me wish I was on a sailboat, Lynn. It's been too many years since I did any sailing and I really miss it. This is fabulous. Love how you stamped first and then embossed. Gives it such wonderful texture. Excellent!

Really love this card Lynn. The MOJO went to CAS castle where it would be safe for now. This card makes it evident mojo is happy at CAS castle. Beautiful work.

I love this sentiment. I want to work it into a wedding card sometime...and you know about my wedding card phobia! Another sentiment with a compass...something about finding your true north...look at me - planning ahead for wedding cards!!! Adorable card by the way - love!

I just love the way this one came out! The assorted sizes of hearts along with the nautical theme looks wonderful together, and the sentiment wraps it all up perfectly! I often go through that blank stage too, so I get up, get out of the craft room and concentrate on other things, and eventually an idea will pop into my seedy little brain, which will send me back to the "cave" to create! It's there, it just needs a new change of direction now and then! Stay with it!!

I love how this turned out, Lynn! Your mojo is just fine! And there's no such thing as having too much stamping stuff! (I hope)

Jessi Fogan said...

It can't be that you have too much stuff, because that's not possible :P I find summer makes it hard - even if it's a bearable temp something about sunshine saps my mojo. You'd never tell your mojo was wandering by looking at this card! Love the embossing & that fun gold dot!
