I used some Cherry Cobbler (gotta love that color), and Very Vanilla. The image is from a set by CTMH called Soul Mates. The lace is some that I picked up not long ago at a thrift store.
This will be for the following challenges:
Create with Connie and Mary - Sketch
Creative Inspirations Paint - Texture
The Paper Players - Valentine's
Thanks for stopping by...............

So rich and elegant, Lynn. Love the squiggly pattern in the heart stamp. And the red and white ribbon adds so much elegance and charm. Everything ties up so well.
Sorry for disappearing from the face of this earth without any notice. I got so busy with making Christmas cards for sale before I left that there was no time to do a post. Next time I promise to let you all know so that it does not make you worry.
Happy new year.

Oh Lynn, this is a beauty - what a sweet Valentine's card. I feel so bad I don't send these out, I probably should, and you've sent 15! What a treasure it must be see your family members light up when receiving a Lynn original!

Love this card! The embossed Very Vanilla panel really does highlight the Cherry Cobbler perfectly! Thanks for playing with us this week at The Paper Players!
I think your distressing looks great, Lynn! I just love how the Cherry Cobbler really pops of the vanilla. What did we all do before that color was created? It's perfect for any occasion! The lace is the perfect compliment to your perfect bow, too. Love it! :)
What an elegant valentine! Perfect for the sketch. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge

Hi Lynn
I love the affect you've achieved with this stamp, the lace and embossing. It all came out so well. The distressing? Funny! I don't think you can just distress a little. You have to just "giv'er" lol

I don't get distressing either Lynn, so you're not alone. Love the lace ribbon. Great touch on top of the red.
Great use of the sketch this week and I think your distressing looks just great!
Lynn,
I think the distressing is just the right amount! You really rocked the sketch. I love all the texture you created with the embossing, the lace, etc.

Something must be amuck that your blog doesn't come up when you post. But I am here to tell you your card is absolutely beautiful. Love the lace over ribbon.

Very pretty Lynn! Nice elegant heart and ribbons. I love the background texture!
You know what helps... with distressing I mean, sometimes (for some cardstocks) you just have to wet the paper edges a bit (with a paint brush or niji water brush) and then distress it. Try it. Do let me know what the end result was.
this is such a beautiful card!
Thanks for playing with us at Creative Inspirations paints!
Love from France, Kianel.
What an elegant Valentine. I love cherry cobbler too. The strip of lace is the perfect addition for this card
The addition of the lace over the ribbon is really nice. The bow is perfect.
