Let It Snow

I'm back again with another card for our challenge over at Digi Haven.  Our theme this go-round is Baby It's Cold Outside.  We're being sponsored by Bugaboo who graciously provided the images for the DT to use.  Head on over to Digi Haven to see all the wonderful inspiration from the DT and enter our challenge.

No snow around here but I can at least put it on my card!  I used the Falling Snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp and some embossing paste against a Bashful Blue background.  The sentiment and label are from Studio G I believe.  After printing and coloring this little guy I slipped the bottom of his broom behind the hill of "snow" and then popped him up a bit.

Be sure and stop by Digi Haven and enter for your chance to win a wonderful prize package from Bugaboo.

I'll enter this in the challenges at Kaboodles Doodles (Let it Snow).

Thanks for stopping by............
Lynn

Now only is this snowman a cutie, but the snowy background looks amazing too! I love that look! I think you made it snow again this morning in PA with your snowy card! LOL j/k but it is snowing again, and I woke up to the ground being all white :)

What a super cute card! I have that image and need to print some out and use it! I love the pretty paper, touch of snow you have, your coloring and how you added your sentiment. Too cute!

So glad you're a part of the Deedee's Digis team!

Lynn - This card is just too cute!! I love that DP and that you made horizontal stripes. The snowman is thin enough to not worry that the stripes makes him look 'fat'!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and you are right about digital stitching, it is so much easier than hand/machine stitching!

Wow, Lynn, I love this one. Nice stencil work. I just ordered that stencil yesterday. Let's hope I can make my snow look as good as your. The background paper really helps to make your focal image stand out nicely. We got just a small amount of snow yesterday, but today it is to be 50 degrees. Lot of sickness in this part of the country, maybe this weird weather has something to do with that. Enjoy your weekend.

Giminy, this is one cutie of a snowman. I like that embossing paste and you've colored Snowy just so pretty. I loved your choice of the background dp against that soft blue background. Really a super card here. Good touch with the broom behind your snowbank too. Such attention to detail. TFS & Hugs

So cute Lynn. Although I don't wish for any more snow. It's time for it to leave. Shoveling is no fun.
