Love's the Word

I have no earthly idea how I managed to get all those "Love" words lined up and spaced pretty well even.  I had a piece of white card stock sitting on my desk and saw this wood block stamp that I recently found in the dollar bin at a local craft store.  There's not even a company name on the stamp so don't know who made it.  I sat there wondering what it would look like stamped in different colors and just started stamping......no stamp-a-ma-jig or anything.   After I finished stamping them I looked down - and WHOA!!!  They look pretty much evenly spaced and all that.   Purely an accident I assure you!  Never in a gaz-illion years could I ever do anything like that again!  I like the way they looked and decided to finish up a card with it.  I die cut a heart, stamped a small "love you" sentiment, embossed it in white, and it's a done deal.

I'll enter this in the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays (In a Word).

Thanks for stopping by..............
Lynn

Your alignment is spot on, so WTG! I use a stamp-a-ma-jig and STILL stamp crooked! LOL I like the different colors in your word! Great CAS card!

LOVE your accidental card! Isn't it wonderful when things work out like that? This really is an awesome CAS card, even if you didn't originally plan it that way!

Aw, this is sweet. I know how you lined up that stamp....you weren't thinking about it, just testing colors! Works every time, and sure was perfect here. Brillant idea for the bargain stamp too...against all that crisp clean white. Love the bright red heart as a big color burst. TFS & Big Hugs.

I left a comment, but I'm not sure if it saved it or not. If it did, delete this one, OK? I was sayin', isn't it wonderful when playing yields something this perfect? What a great card. I saw that stamp and left it in the bin. Rats!

I LOVE (no pun intended) when that happens and it's happened to me, so I believe you, Lynn! I especially loved how you reenacted your WHOA! reaction coz that's what I do, too! And to answer your original question, the word looks awesome stamped in all those different colors!! Hugs, Darnell

Don't you love it when something like this happens?! I think I've seen that stamp in a dollar bin and always was stumped by it....now I see I need to make a mad dash to Michael's to scoop it up!n This is adorable! Let's hear it for serendipity!

I know exactly what you mean about not being able to do it intentionally, Lynn. What a fabulous happy 'accident.' The die cut heart and white embossing really are the perfect finishing touch. Much as I'd love to CASE this, I'd never get the words straight, evenly spaced, or aligned correctly. This is just too fantastic!

this is a great CAS card, Lynn. I love the rainbow colors. Just ask Carol how many stamps I have that are unmounted, and I am clueless as to the maker. It would be so sad if we did not use them. Bravo on that spacing.
