Lynn's Animal Farm

I know that today is Mother's Day here in the U.S. but thought I'd show you the card that Rambo will be giving Jim for Father's Day next month.  Jill, over at Ribbon Challenge recently had posted a card using this adorable little doxie template.  She always makes the most beautiful cards and after seeing hers,  I made the comment that I'd love to know where she got that doxie.  The next day Jill sent me a copy of the template!  Then her husband Jim, who also has a wonderful blog called Love the Details, sent it again in a different format!  Double the fun!!  Thank y'all again so very much!

It's a super simple card and not even half as cute as Jill's, but Rambo will be giving it to Jim next month for Father's Day.  Jim's favorite color is yellow so that's why you see all that yellow on here!  Pretty bright but know he'll like it.

And speaking of Rambo and animals in general................Meet Rambo............(even though I may have posted this picture before)

I did say animal (S) - so you also get to see a picture of Sassy - our worthless cat!  I call her that because if a mouse ran out in front of her she'd just yawn and go back to sleep.  She really is a sweet cat - but yep, worthless!  LOL!  This is probably the height of laziness!

Thanks for stopping by..............
Lynn

Rambo and Sassy are just the cutest. From the looks of things,I think Sassy doesn't worry about much...ha..wish I could be that way. After what you said about her, I had such a chuckle when I saw the photo.

Your card is just adorable and your hubby is sure to love it. Love the curved sentiment. Of course, the wiener dog is the star of the show.

Happy Mother's Day to you.

Love that masculine paper and I love yellow too, so it isn't to bright to me. How fun your friends send you this file so you could make this fabulous card. Hugs

Adorable doxie card and I know he'll love it. What a great template. Didn't know Rambo had a playmate - Sassy looks just like a big cat we had.

Love the photos of Rambo and Sassy, Lynn!! Thanks for posting them!

Your Father's Day design is perfect with this precious pup and bold plaid!

Fab card, Lynn, and I knew instantly that it was from Rambo to Jim! lol Love the plaid matched with that delightful yellow. I do hope Sassy can't read. No feline is "useless" as long as they can pose for the camera. They're just high-maintenance divas! :-D PS You should share more photos and stories of Sassy. I knew all about Rambo but didn't even know you had a cat!

This image looks so like Rambo! So perfect for a Father's Day card! Such a pretty kitty. We had one for a long time that looked like her. Ours liked to bring in baby rabbits!

Now that card is just perfection! Love the yellow & the googly eye :)
And RAMBO! Always happy to see that pooch :) As for Sassy, she should come & hang out with my worthless cats, lol. The latest fun? Only 2 of them are allowed out, and if a bird flies by? OMG I GOTTA GET IN THE HOUSE IT'S GONNA GET ME.

I saw Jill's doxy card & it was fabulous. Loved the subtle colors she chose for it too. Love the plaids & yellows you have on Jim's card too. Just right for a bright Texas day. And perfect for a Rambo card I might say. Loved seeing the pictures of the anymules. Cute. I can see that Rambo is quite a guard dog from that stance he has in the pose. TFS & Hugs
