Krafty Christmas

Just a really quick post here as I'm going out of town for the day - I'll be back later and scoot around to everyone's blog to get my daily "fix" of WOW from everyone!

Thought I'd whip up a quick card for Christmas using some Crumb Cake (kraft) and this ornament.  Everyone else seems to have all these pretty ornaments and the ornament punches, etc... but me.....I only have the one ornament and not the punch!  LOL!  So I stamped it in Real Red and cut it out.  It's from SU along with the embossing folder and sentiment.  I did a little stitching down the side (still working on that mess) and the card was completed.

I'll enter this in the challenge at A Blog Named Hero (Kraft).

Thanks for stopping by...........OH, almost forgot!!!  I have a Fun Friday coming up this week so stay tuned!
Lynn

Nice Lynn! Even with your 'only' ornament - it's gorgeous :)

Love the two scored lines underneath the sentiment. That really gives the panel and extra '!"

Enjoy your getaway!

Lynn, wonderful cutting job. I'm jealous LOL. Your little gem and ribbon really help your ornament to Pop. I also love the stitching and your embossed lines and I think I have to get that embossing folder.

Hope you have a great day out of town.

I have the punch, and 2 sets with ornament designs, but THIS design is my favorite and I don't have it! LOL If only we lived closer together :)
Great card, and great fussy cutting too! I love the stitching and little scored lines under the sentiment! Very pretty!

This is lovely, Lynn! If I could cut that well, I wouldn't need a punch. Love the 2 scored lines below the sentiment and the stitching too.

You're a lot braver than I am doing real stitching! I haven't attempted it yet...out of fear that I'll mess up an entire card! :)

This is absolutely stunning, Lynn! I love the colors, the embossing, the clean design...well, everything. Simply gorgeous!!!

Speaking of WOW factors! I absolutely love the simplicity of this card. The embossing is elegant, a thing not easy to accomplish using kraft CS. This one is spectacular.

Love the simplicity - love the touch of silver elegance - and addition of stitches. I LOVE stitching and never seem to remember to add it. Maybe it is because my sewing machine is to my back...out of sight out of mind. Don't you just love how 'they' suck you in with an image...and the punch! It really is the one..two...punch! I love punches but get so frustrated with they stop punching cleanly or just stop working all together. I'm punch-reluctant!

This is one of those cards that you have to look at for a long while to see all the work that went into it to make it look so simply beautiful. I love it!
