Mice in Love

I've been wanting to play along in the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge for so long but due to having a very limited supply of House Mouse images I hadn't been able to do so.  The challenge this go round is themed Double Trouble - to use at least two meeces (or friends)......so YEAH I have a stamp I can use!

I was going to punch out the little hearts and put different DP behind them, but lining those things up correctly and then punching them is just beyond me, so I just punched them out of gingham and added them to the front.  I did a little stitching on here and made the frame with a couple of SU punches.  The image, Tails of Love, was colored with Prisma pencils.  I used some Pretty in Pink card stock and Paper Studio DP.

I'll enter this in the challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge (Double Trouble).

Thanks for stopping by.......
Lynn

Lynn, Love, Love, Love this card. I'm glad you used the hearts just the way you did. I would not change a thing about this card: the image, the colors, coloring, papers, hearts and ribbon all go together so perfectly. So glad you got the chance to play along with us at House Mouse this week, we are very lucky to see this creation from you. Thank you for that. Best of luck to you.

I think it was a House Mouse stamp which hooked me on stamping in the first place. I love this card, Lynn. Great coloring and your paper choices are perfect, as always. :-D Love that bow!

Adore those meeces and the gingham hearts .Love the diecut frame and the pricking in corner .
My tip that works for me and maybe you could try .
When I want to punch say 3 of something from a layer for a card I punch the shape [ in this case heart] first from some scrap paper in this case 3 times .Then I place a tiny piece of sticky tape to the shape and place the 3 cutouts where I want to punch out .I place the two outside ones down first then the centre one . Then turning the punch over so i can see the already cut out heart, in the hole I then punch .
Hope this works for you too .
