BIG Holiday Wishes

This is going to probably be the extent of my homemade gifts this year.  I used a stamp from the Simon Says Stamp kit and stamped it in Gumball Green.  I stamped the "BIG" in red, cut it out and popped it over the "BIG" in the green.  Tied some twine on it, mounted it on some DP and it's a done deal.  Can y'all tell how much of a slacker I've been with my decorations on stuff this year!  LOL!

Inside that jar is the most delicious, sweetest, and non-fattening (YEAH, RIGHT!!!!) stuff you'd ever want to eat.  It's Candy Cane Peppermint Popcorn.  Carol (Our Little Inspirations) mentioned that she was going to be making some so I found her recipe on Pinterest and added it to my "Recipes I've Made" board.  Check it out......it's yummy in the tummy for sure - and I'm not big on eating sweets at all but that stuff is GOOD!

I'll see everyone back here on Thursday evening.....
Thanks for stopping by..........
Lynn

Oh, yummy! I've never seen that recipe. I'll have to travel to your Pinterest and get it. I wish I wasn't big on eating sweets..truth is, I crave them. Ugh!

Love your label with the two-tone "BIG".

This sounds so delicious. At least you did make some handmade gifts. You wanna talk slacker...come to my house! I used to spend a week making cookies, treats, etc to give away. Got to be a 2nd job at this time of year (and mind you I was working then too). Now that I have the time (?!) I don't have the energy or motivation. Loved the way you did the label with the dual colors of your letters. So pretty. Will see if I can find the recipe. Merry Christmas, and TFS

WOW! What an awesome container of that "Candy cane crack" as I call it because it's so addictive! I'm not big on popcorn, but I'll be quite happy with a big bowl of this stuff!! I have to bag mine up right away before I dig my paws into it!!! LOL The UPS guy who got a bag of this stuff politely said thank-you, but I'll bet he'll be surprised when he realizes it's not just plain popcorn! LOL

Oh, Lynn, did you say you were sending peppermint popcorn to all your blogging buddies? Is that what I read? How generous of you to share your talents with all of us that way! LOL Love the whole idea of special popcorn as a gift and I may have to CASE that one. I always make fudge for everyone but flavored popcorn would be a terrific addition to the goodies.

Adorable tag! Love the red/green BIG! Genius! Pure GENIUS!!! The insides sound yummy! What a fun gift. I wish I had the energy to do something like this. I'm almost dreading the annual baked goods that will soon be arriving from a couple of neighbors. I TOTALLY cheated and bought hand-made jam at the Farmer's Market this fall. SLACKER!!!
Have a fabulous Christmas Lynn!
