Going Buggy!

If going buggy is the same as going crazy,  I need to take this card and plaster it someplace where I'll see it daily!!!   But, I knew it was time again for a way overdue Fun Friday!!

First of all I'd like to apologize if I haven't been by your blog to visit the last couple of days.  My internet service went poof!  You just gotta love computers.......I logged and tried to get on-line and this huge message came on the screen saying that I couldn't access my internet and to call their number to get re-activated.  OK....called the number and that little gal took down my name, put me on hold, came back, and said her computer was "down" and she was putting me on hold again to go to another computer!  YIKES!!!!!  This is NOT a good sign at all!!!  I won't even go into all the details but I'm back in business again and will get by and visit as soon as I can.

Out here in the boonies we have bugs!  Yep, no other way to put it I'm afraid.  Thankfully they're usually outside though so that's a good thing.  We also have frogs on occasion - but definitely not in the house.  Right now I could use one of these little green wonders in the house.  We've got this flying type insect that really looks a lot like that bug on the card and every time the door is opened I swear at least 10 of the little suckers fly in the house.  Of course Jim, being Jim, feels he has to go in out all day long (not one to sit still at all).  So these little critters come in all day long!!  Jim has some fancy name for them but to me it's just a bug!  Squash!

That happy looking little frog is from I Brake For Stamps...one of the after Christmas gifts to myself.  I cut a circle in the top panel and then placed the scrap of green strip paper on the card base.  Popped up the frog (after coloring and adding his googly eyes) on the stripe and then also popped up the circle panel.  The sentiment is computer generated.

One last note here before I go away and quit "bugging" you...........Don't forget to check my two previous posts regarding a couple of Blog Hops going on that I'm involved in!!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.......and thanks for stopping by.........
Lynn

Oh my, this froggie is too cute and he's on the job. You need him on guard at your door as hubby goes in and out. Of course, not to get your hubby...just the insects. LOL

Yikes! Glad you got your computer up and going again. That really sounded serious.

Love your fun card. It's adorable!
Have a great weekend.

Oh my gosh! I just luv, luv, luv this card and that image! My younger daughter collects frogs; this would be a perfect card for her!! What was that saying about frogs eating what bugs them for breakfast? Wishing I could do that sometimes (LOL)!

Top notch work, Lynn. I really, really like this one.

Good luck with your bug removal. Hate bugs. Also good luck with the service provider. It's always such fun to have to call these companies! TFS, Happy Wkend, & Hugs

LOL! Bruce goes in and out all day too and brings in all kinds of things. He brought a toad in one day. I was reading in bed that evening and saw something out of the corner of my eye and there was a toad coming in my bedroom door. Needless to say, his sleep was interrupted to get the pesky thing out of the house! It wasn't nearly as cute as this one and he wasn't slurping up bugs. Might have let him stay if he was.

I LOVE THIS FROG. You've coloured him perfectly, and of course I love those googly eyes. I hear you on the bugs - ours are all done for now, but in the summer? Yes, everyone, please leave the door open while you run in & out. I love having a house full of mosquitoes & worse! The dog will catch some, but she did finally learn that eating wasps is a bad idea ;)

Oh, Lynn, this is my most fave cards of yours! You know I have a soft spot for froggies anyway, and this one is a HOOT!! I hope you were able to coax a couple of them to come in and rid you of the who-cares-what-they're-called-yucky-bugs!! Hugs, Darnell

I hear ya about the bugs...flying, hopping, crawling...we got them all!!!! Your little frog is adorable especially with that tongue...cracks me up!!!!

Cute, cute, cute!! I love this fun little frog, especially the eyes! He looks like he's hopping right off the card!
We don't have many bugs right now, waaay too cold, and I'm hoping this means less bugs this summer too! We have these nasty, tiny, flying black bugs that love to hang out by the lights. They also like to drop down out of said light fixture while I'm crafting...yuck!
