Hope y'all aren't getting tired of me popping in the last couple of days!
Today begins another challenge over at Creative Belli and what we'd like to see is Just A Sentiment! Pretty easy, right - but just don't forget to use your old and forgotten embellishments. Stop by the Creative Belli blog and enter your creation - and check all the wonderful inspiration from the DT.
My card turned out pretty simple (no, make that VERY simple) but I was able to get rid of some of these paper flowers I've had forever. You very seldom see flowers on my cards - but today you get a BIG one!! LOL! I didn't have a big white one to go behind the purple ones, so I embossed a piece of white card stock in Swiss Dots and punched out a scalloped circle. I also embossed the purple with a Texturz plate. The DP is some from SU that I haven't used in a long time and the sentiment is from SU. I'm not real where this button came from....surely the buttons aren't back there breeding like the DP now! LOL! Scary thought!
Thanks for stopping by......and be sure and check out the Creative Belli Challenge.

Simple cards are sometimes the most effective Lynn...I really love this - that big flower is just gorgeous! Such beautiful colours and it is a great birthday card :)
Very pretty Lynn. You know, I didn't even notice the white one wasn't a flower until I read it... the way you've put it together, it blends right in. I love that flowered paper you used on the bottom.
So very pretty and so clever to use a scalloped base for the flowers. No one would have known...
What a beautiful card and beautiful flower, sure puts a smile on my face :)
Love it, the flower on top matching the flowers below with the summery colors and the sentiment over the DP, great idea.
Gorgeous card Lynn, I like the colours the flower and the ribbon.

Seriously, this is a great card! I love the fresh spring colors and I love that you put a scalloped circle behind the flower! I thought it was a white flower! Nice work on this one!

So pretty!!! Simple and fast are really good sometimes!!!
Love that big beautiful paper flower, and such a pretty card! Reproducing supplies...that just might explain it! Sounds better than us buying too much!!!
If buttons start breeding like DP, we're in BIG trouble, Lynn. I love these little flowers and the big one. Very creative to punch a white scallop, embossed circle to put behind the flower.
Simple, but gorgeous!! Love that flower-great way to use up a few.
