Happy Hallo-weenie!!!

It's a Fun Friday - and it's not even Friday yet!  It's Halloween - or as Rambo says, Hallo-weenie!  I'd been looking for him a light weight t-shirt to wear in the house when it's chilly and finally found this one at a local pet store.  He already has a sweater but needed something light weight.  Like it or not he's getting older and just like a little old man, his hair is starting to thin out some.

He doesn't look happy at all in this picture but he LOVES his t-shirt.  The Trick or Treat words even glow at night.  He really thinks he's sharp looking - and he is!

And since we're talking about weenies...................Um..........

A very CAS card for this Halloween.  I used a stamp from Chicken Girl Design - who is sadly no longer in business.  This was one of the first stamp sets I bought on-line and of course it's filled with tiny little dachshunds.  Love it!

So, Happy Halloween or Happy Hallo-weenie - whichever you prefer.  Have a great day!

Fall

Wouldn't you love to have your Radio Flyer wagon again - or maybe you still have it!  I remember mine.  We'd tie a strings around lizards necks and take them for rides in it...............Back in the dark ages for sure.  Now we'd be turned in for animal abuse.

This is an image from Impression Obsession that I've had for a long time.  It's called Wagon (SHU:H1884). I try to use it every fall because it's so neat looking.  I colored the rocks in the background a little too dark for my taste, but it's done and will still be ok for a card.  It's mounted on some very dark green polka dotted paper.  Looks almost black in the photo.  I added a strip of orange paper and then the frame piece and some twine.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Impression Obsession (Harvest Treats).

A Bear

Yep, it's a bear.....just sitting around doing nothing.  I guess he's being a bum like I am on some days.  I needed a couple of thinking of you cards so I made these the other day.  I used a stamp set from MFT that um.......I bought last year before Christmas and still hadn't used.  Shame on me!

Anyway, as I said - it's a bear.  Sitting.  Doing nothing else but thinking of someone.  I did a little stenciling after masking the bear and that was it.  Both of them I made are already in the mail now.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More (Clean and Simple).

Charming

This is so like what my life goes like at times.  I saw a challenge somewhere and really don't even remember where it was - but you had to use a charm on your creation.  I got really busy and made this clean and simple card using a snowflake looking charm I've had close to forever.  I framed it out with one of the new SSS sets of stamps and called it done......and even liked it.  Went over to add it to the challenge - and realized I was looking at the last weeks challenge instead.  So typical but it's ok because  now I have another card for Christmas!

I used some Halloween background paper for my card today.  The "Boo" sentiment is from an older CTMH stamp.  Of course I just had to add that die cut bat and give him some googly eyes too.

Thanks for stopping by..........and enter our challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.

Boots and Bags

Believe it or not, I think this may be the last of the litter on Halloween stuff.  I sent two of the granddaughters a gift box and these little bags with a necklace were included - among other things.     The cards were tossed in there too.

For the cards I used the boot and sentiment from Taylored Expressions and swiped some distress ink on them.  The black was sprayed with the Glitter Dust stuff - and that's one of the reasons for the terrible photo - too much shine or something.   The other reason for the terrible photo is probably due to operator error -----

I used a Lawn Fawn die for the little bags and then also used some stamps from there too.  Made a few clouds, added the bat, and they were done.

I really think this winds up Halloween around here so it's time to move on to Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

Halloween Gets the Boot - or Shoe

Giving the boot (shoe) to Halloween with my card.  The boot/shoe and sentiment are from Taylored Expressions.  I used some different colors of distress inks on the boot/shoe.  Added the black frame, big bat, spider web, and spider die cuts.

For some reason I've made a few Halloween cards this year - and remember, I'm the one that doesn't even like Halloween!  Eek!  The kids have fun though so I guess it's ok.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Cute Card Thursday (Halloween) and Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

Thanks for stopping by...........oh, and in case you haven't noticed - I'm not doing any commenting on the weekends.  In fact, I seldom even look at Blogger then.   I'm not being rude, but this is giving me time to make a few cards, catch up on computer emails, etc. and just generally being a bum.  I'm getting pretty good at the bum business too!!

Fall Colors

I'm loving those wonderful colors of fall ........ and I'd really love that wonderful weather of fall too!  We really are cooling down a bit around here though so that's good.  Anytime we can get a "cold front" that cools us down to the 80's around here we're excited!!!

Using a stamp set from Impression Obsession (Solid Tree)  I made a one layer card today.  The trunk of the tree was stamped with some distress ink and the leaves were stamped using some Taylored Expression ink.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Impression Obsession (colors of Halloween or fall)

I've used this silly goose for my card today.  He's all dressed up to hit the streets trick or treating for Halloween.  Fun guy and not scary at all.  He sorta looks like that goose on the commercial!

Summers Last Frog

I received a reminder the other day that I hadn't done a Funny Friday is a long time.  It's actually been right at a year now.  Maybe it's time to start them again ever so often.................Right, Connie?

I mean you just HAVE to smile when you see this cute frog from QKR!  She's a doll isn't she....and everyone should be smiling today since it's Friday!

This is actually the second frog that I colored.  I got the first one all done and it was on my desk waiting to go on a card and the next thing I knew Bentley the BEAST (my daughters dog) was gnawing on it!  Ugh!  It must have fallen  off my desk - and believe me, anything that hits the floor in this house belongs to him....shoes, socks, paper, TV remotes, telephones, pencils, towels....you name it and it's probably in his belly.   In fact, the other day we had to take him to doggie ER due to swallowing a ponytail scrunchie.   Rambo just gives him a "you've got to be kidding me" type look.

Anyway, since it's October now I can safely say that everyone around here has put up their bikini for the winter - and are wishing summer was already back again.

I'll enter this in the challenge at QKR Stampede (anything goes) using my QKR image and the challenge at Cute Card Thursday (anything goes).

Flowers and Meditation

Flowers............what more can you say about this.............

I used the Zigs to color the flowers (MFT) and then stamped the sentiment (Wplus9).

Rambo's meditating....................Actually he's just soaking up some sunshine.  I hadn't posted a picture of him in a while and know you were probably dying to see him.   He's happy.  My daughter has a part Schnauzer and part Yorkie that Rambo and  I call the BEAST.  He's only a little over a year old and wants to play all the time of course.  Rambo wants to sleep.  Whenever he can get a chance like this for a little peace and quiet, he loves it  (In other words.......Bentley the BEAST is driving him nuts)!

I'll enter this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (Think Pink).

Splat, I Love You THIS Much-2CCC

YEA!  It's time for another challenge at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies.........and this little guy definitely is feeling the craziness!  Or maybe he's just in love?   He's one of the images of a set from Beccy's Place called Frog Hop.   Beccy's Place is our sponsor this month and has such cute images so be sure and check them out.

The fun frog was colored with Copics, cut out and placed on the distress sponged brick wall. (It sorta looks like someone threw a frog against that wall and it stuck - Splat!!!!!  YIKES!!!!)  The sentiment is an old one from Stampin' Up.  I added a couple of tiny hearts and it was done.

Be sure and stop by 2 Crafty Critter Crazies and enter your card or project for a chance to win.  Just be sure and have some type of critter on your card.

Thanks for stopping by..........
