Change of Pace

Just a little change of pace from all the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Fall, and Christmas cards! This is actually looking more like "spring" to me - and we have a ways to go before we hit that time of year again. But, I just couldn't resist this precious little digi image and went ahead and made a card with it. The image is from Firecracker Designs by Pamela. Due to her store closing soon, she is have a huge SALE right now so be sure and check it out. Isn't this little bear just the cutest, sitting on that log!! I think he's ready for the party to begin.

I used some Only Orange, Ballet Blue, and Chocolate Chip card stock. The DP is Pawistively (retired) from SU. I printed him out twice and then cute out one of the balloons. After coloring them and adding Liquid Glass, I popped one of them up on dimensionals. I added a little bit of stitching and the buttons to complete the card.

This is my third submission for the digi Guest Designer spot at Firecracker Designs. Be sure and check out Pamela's store for the sale and just to see all the fabulous images and rubber and clear stamps she has! Also take a peek at her blog!

Thanks for stopping by...........

Lynn

Awwwwww... what a cute image! I love the layout & your colour choices. Your buttons & twine on them is very cool... I need to try that!

Fabulous Lynn!! Have I NOT been noticing your stitching on your other cards? For some reason - this is the first time I think I'm seeing it!? I might be totally wrong. I've told my mom to look out for a discount machine - so I can try and incorporate sewing onto my cards!

This is so cute!!!! Love the zig zag stitching you have around the mat and that bear with his balloons, love how you cut out one of the balloons and popped that up. Thanks for the break and give us a touch of Happy Birthday and spring. Although I love fall and the holidays :)

It does have a spring feel to it, but I think that's a nice change of pace. Cute image and color combo.
