Happy Ho, Ho, Ho

Just giving everyone an early Ho, Ho, Ho!!! I'm really not even wanting to think about Christmas just yet, but guess I have too. I'm trying to create a few Christmas cards each week.

This image is from a stamp that I got at an Estate sale last year - from RubberStampede. It really looks very vintage - but my card doesn't. I still like this layout from SCS and card - and think it'll be easy to mail (in other words, NO EXTRA POSTAGE)! What a plus that one will be! I used some Real Red, Soft Suede, and White. The patterned paper is from Flair. I embossed the red background with the Square Lattice folder from SU.

Thanks for stopping by..............

Lynn

What a great Santa stamp. I think your DP gives it a bit of vintage feel since it has that gold color. Like how you embossed the cardstock adds that touch of texture. Nice. Give Rambo a pat on the head unless he is busy chasing squirrels.

This is a beautiful Christmas card! I loved the hint on color here and there. I did look around at all the lovely artwork I missed and everything (and I do mean everything) is gorgeous as usual. Thanks for always stopping by with a kind word. You always make my day!

I love the embossed background. I haven't seen a SU catalog in ages. I bet they've really come a long way since my first home show.

Great xmas card! I think that stripped paper makes the card look vintage - although - since I'm not a 'vintage card maker' I could have that all wrong :O
Either way - it's beautiful!!!

What a great vintage style image. I think that the striped paper and lattice embossing are a bit vintage but the bright red gives it a modern zip. Cool holiday card.
