Everything's Just Ducky

This isn't a rubber ducky or even a plastic ducky.....it's a nice "made to last" wooden ducky - the kind I probably had when I was a little baby.  The adorable image is from Floppy Latte and  was given to me because yes, in case you haven't already guessed......NO, I'm not pregnant!!!!!! It was given to me since I was recently asked to join the design team at Digi Haven  and we all got an image from Floppy Latte to use on our card today!!!  Head on over to Digi Haven and join in our challenge (themed Vintage or Old) and while you're there be sure and check out all the wonderful inspiration from the rest of the design team, which I might add, are a fantastic group of ladies - and one handsome gent!  Oh, and prizes......yep, we have those too!  Check it out.

Y'all know I don't really do vintage, but thought the yellow, that Kraft that I sponged (um...maybe overloaded it a bit on the sponging), and the old button would qualify.  Notice that pink bow on the duck.....I had to add it in pink since my son and his wife will be having another little girl in a couple of months.

Head on over to Digi Haven and enter for your chance to win!

Thanks for stopping by.........
Lynn

This card is darling and I think it qualifies for vintage. Love the yellow and white polka dots and your little pink ribbon. Also congrats on becoming a grandma again in a few months. I don't do vintage. I love it, but I'm just not good at doing it. Thanks for the info about Digi Heaven. I'll head right over there. Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Donna
PS I'm very glad to hear you are not pregnant. LOL

I love Digi Haven, Lynn, and congratulations on joining their team! Love the wooden ducky. It reminds me of one my dad made when my oldest was just a bare toddler. He used to pull it behind him all the time. That ducky got passed down to the other kids and even the first grandchild of mine, but I have no idea who has it now. Love the card!

Congratulations on the great news, Lynn!! They are lucky ducks (!) to have you join the Team!! Your ducky card is adorable and I think it's vintage because yellow rubber duckies go back to the time of King Ferdinand when he went through that little phase he went through. (Usually not found in the history books. Sshh.)
