The Cat in the Egg

Y'all really thought I was talking about The Cat in the Hat - right!  Nope, today we have the cat in the egg!  She's from Deedee's Digis and if you played along last month in the progressive challenge you've already received this image.  If you didn't play along, it's ok because you can purchase this adorable set and enter this month - and then next month you'll receive a free image!  This set not only has the cute cat but also a little hen......plus they not only have the line version like I used but also the pre-colored ones....plus sentiments galore.  Are there enough "plus's" to all that!  Stop by Deedees Digis and you can find the challenge and the shop all in one place!!!  We'd love to see you enter this month!

Instead of using the pre-colored one this time, I decided to use the line version and color it myself in Copics.  I also added a little strip of rhinestones to the egg and then used the Wink of Stella pen on the pink polka dots.  She's framed out in a Lil Inker die and then popped up on the polka dot patterned paper.  This will go to one of the granddaughters for Easter since it's loaded with pink and the rhinestones.

Not sure if I need to clean my computer screen or not - but all that white is motley looking to me!  Reflection, dirty screen, bad photographer, or what!  If you're seeing what I'm seeing I need ideas on how to fix that one!

Thanks for stopping by................
Lynn

Morning Lynn. Super cute card. The coloring is neat. I see no problem unless I look at the polka dots too long. They make the white have polka dots. Lol. Then again could be I need new glasses.LOL.

This is adorable, Lynn. What a fun, cute image and one I'm thinking your granddaughter will surely love.

The rhinestones were a good idea.

I don't know what advice to give on your photo..unless, some tweaking is done with your software and I'm sure you tried that.

I love this! I love all the white, it shows off this adorable cat that you colored beautifully.
I do not do digi's, for some reason when I print them out they smudge when I color them, no matter how long it has dried, heat set, nothing. It just smudges.

The white does look sort of speckled to me, but no idea how to fix it. It's a wonder I can point and shoot my point and shoot camera.

I love this bright happy card, brilliant colors. The girls will love it.

Lynn, you did an amazing job with this image. I wanted to color it also but just didn't seem to have the time this week. Maybe I'll try it next week. I love the colors you went with and the way you laid it out on the banner and circle. I don't find any wrong with your "white". I think it your's computer screen or your eyes. Better get them checked real soon. Teehee. Have a fun night.

A-DORable! I saw the chicken at Carol's yesterday - loved it too. This is a delightful set. Nice design on the way you've added the rhinestones as you did, and that stella sure sparked up the polka dots too. Great coloring, no surprise there. Must be your monitor, chile, the white looks fine to me. Love the pierced circle and your shaped pennant sentiment too. Ditto that banner behind Mr. Cat. Terrific card. TFS & Hugs
