Country Christmas

This is pretty much a CASE of a card I saw recently in a online card class.  I used the same die and design but that's about it.  The die is from Simon Says Stamp and the patterned paper is from Paper Studio.  Mainly just some scraps I had left over from another project.  The card base is Kraft card stock.  It's a little different for me and almost to the point of being "busy", but it's another Christmas card completed.  I usually send my Christmas cards out the first week of December, but that's going to be hard to do this year I think.  I'm getting ready to shower you with Christmas cards!

I'll enter this in the challenges at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets) Dies R Us (Christmas-Anything Goes).

Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

This is a very nice card. I love the muted colored mixed with the bright red. It all came together to make a super pretty card. I'll take the shower of Christmas cards. I need ideas, however I think I'll be sending out store bought cards this year. We'll see if I get enough energy to make even a few. Have a fantastic day.

This is more layered for you, Lynn, but it is a scrumptious and gently layered rustic card which I love! Great way to use snippets, too! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family if I don't get back before then! Hugs, Darnell

Lynn, I love this card and am really impressed with the way you did the dove-tail flag on the two different layers! So creative. Great combo of soft and bright colors. The die cut sentiment and snowflake are just so perfect. :-D

I am loving your country Christmas card Lynn! The papers are so pretty and how sweet that you were able to use up some snippets too. That is always a plus. Yes, a bit busy for you, but still very pretty! Yea, I'm not sure about getting those cards out the first week of Dec. I know it won't happen for me! Bring on the Christmas cards Lynn, I'm ready to see them! lol Hugs, Brenda

Hi Lynn, the printed paper looks like vellum and I love the button and the die cut sentiment. Very different from your clean and classy cards but attractive none the less.

Hope all is well,

Monica with love

I myself feel like it's now ALL CHRISTMAS ALL THE TIME over at my desk :) This is fabulous - the kraft base really grounds the busy parts. Love the button!

This one is different styling for you, but I love it! That frame outline with the sentiment, around the patterns of the banner & your tree paper, and on top of the kraft base...it's gorgeous. You did GREAT! Bring on the Christmas cards! TFS
