Mail Drop

I'm not sure if it's my camera, the computer, or the person taking the pictures (surely not!!!!) but I can't seem to get a good picture using pink and the red is looking like a runaway firetruck!  Whew!  This is so RED, it almost puts your eyes out and even looks blurry!  Do I need to get my eyes checked again or is everyone else seeing what I see - and if so, what's the solution!  I've been trying to tone it down but the reds just jump off the page.

Anyway.........enough on colors!  The challenge starting today at Tuesday Throwdown is themed Christmas-Famly.  We're being sponsored by Stamping Boutique who also provided the DT with images.  Be sure and enter the challenge for your chance to win a wonderful prize package from our sponsor.

I used the image Mail Girl, coloring her in Copics and then sponging in some blue for the sky behind her.  I really, really, REALLY would love a coat like she's wearing but there's just no need in spending the money on something that warm in this part of the country.  I'd probably have a heat stoke - but it really does look snuggly and I'd at least look good having the heat stroke!

Be sure and check out Tuesday Throwdown.....and thanks for stopping by!
Lynn

Yes this does look fire truck red, Lynn - photographing purple gets me - it always looks blue - something to do with the length of the light waves that the red gives off, that the digital camera plays havoc with, I think.
Love your card for all that it appears red - if you never said anything, everybody would think it was supposed to look red :-).

LOL Lynn, I know what you mean about how colors photograph, it sure is frustrating some days!! I love the red and the sweet image. The little frame around her is really pretty and the embossed matting really adds to the snowy look! Beautiful :)

I love her coat and hat, too. I could use both of those. I am such a cold tater. :-) That is just the cutest image AND card, Lynn.

Your card really does not look blurry and I don't know what color of red that is supposed to be but I think it looks great. I have noticed recently when my picture leaves my software and goes to SCS, it seems to lose a bit of its sharpness. I don't know why...wish I did.

I love this card, Lynn, and the red looks perfect to me! Not blurry that I can see (unless I take off my glasses) and I adore the CAS design. Great job on the sky. :-D

I don't think your card is too bright...and it cannot be the photographer OR your eyes! Must be your computer..yes, that's it! Your card is absolutely beautiful, RED is the color of the season and you have done a great job capturing that happiness. Love your mail girl, how you embossed the white and added the pennant. Great card...enjoy your day today! ~Donna K

One should always look good even while having a heat stroke. LOL Her coat is darling as is your whole card. I think the color is fine. It is not shockingly red to me, just a nice bright red. Enjoy your day.

It looks a little blurry to me, Lynn, but that's prolly from my morning Kahlua and coffee! Just kidding, it looks sharp and the red IS brilliant, but I love it! And I agree you would look schmashing in that coat - and don't forget the magnificent furry cap, too!! Happy Holiday Hugs! Darnell

Yep, it looks red to me, but I'm not sure what was s'posed to be pink. I LIKE it red! Looks very festive and cheerful - but then I love red! Surely can't be the photographer - didn't look blurry either. Love this image, and the coloring is great. It's a super card in my humble opinion. TFS

My goodness, Lynn, I am always behind with your posts. Dee Dee's deer are adorable, and I love the way you colored up those stockings. As for this sweet miss, I wish she would come do up my holiday cards, so they would be done. Very cute. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.
