It's been a long time since I did that 'huff and puff' business on a stamp - but tried it once again on this card. The stamp is an old one from Stampin' Up and I dragged out my SU markers. I colored the leaves in green and the tree part in brown - then huffed and puffed (several times). Still had to go over it with the markers though. Guess I just don't have enough hot air in me........Um........
I also used a snippet of some patterned paper, stamped the sentiment, and added the snippet of twine. We always need this type of card even though I don't like having to make them. It makes me sad but hopefully the person it's going to will know I'm thinking of them.
I'll enter this in the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).
Thanks for stopping by........

It is beautifully done, Lynn. I love the snippet of designer paper that you chose.
This is so serene and pretty and your huffing and puffing paid off with a beautiful card! I will never part with this stamp set, because it's perfect for so very many occasions, I agree!
Beautiful card for a sad occasion! It's been a while since I did the huffing and puffing too! Great technique and it turned out beautifully!
Beautiful Lynn - I have seen this stamp around a lot and I always admire it - maybe your breath is too hot and dries the ink ;-)
Blessings and hugs

Beautifully done, Lynn! I don't think I've ever used a "huff and puff" technique so I have no idea how successful I'd be but I love your card. Wonderful sentiment, perfect for a sympathy card.

Beautiful card Lynn, I love this set from SU. Maybe your markers were a little dry and it's not your hot air. lol Of course I'm not saying that you are or aren't full of hot air! lol Still a beautiful card. Hugs, Brenda
