Getting Crazy and Wild

Not to worry around here - I'm not getting crazy and wild.  Well......maybe not wild anyway.  Those days are long past - but gosh, sometimes I really miss them!  As far as crazy..........I'm not even going to discuss that.  It's a different kind of crazy as you get older though and not nearly as much fun!

This is a jeep load of animals and they're all from Gerda Steiner Designs.  I'm thinking the little guy is scoping out the road ahead for Troopers since I doubt if the elephant has a drivers license.  Anyway......I used some Kraft paper and a border die from Lawn Fawn for the bottom part.  The background was done with distress inks and a Newton's Nook stencil.  The jeep was paper pieced with some camo paper that I've had forever.

I'll enter this in the challenge at The Male Room (Wild and Free) and Crafty Sentiment Designs (animals).

Thanks for stopping by..........
Lynn

That's a fab stenciled background and looks so cool with the critters and paper pieced jeep. (Now that was a brilliant use of some VOS paper! It looks really good like that). Cute composition, and as you say, wild and crazy! Good JOB! TFS & Hugs

Wild and crazy - well, yes, the definitions of both change as we age... nothing more to say about that, but I do love your card Lynn - whoever thought animals could drive, well, wild animals that is :) Fabulous card and beautifully constructed and pieced together

I am totally in love with this card Lynn!!!! The scene you have created is so fun and amazing. I love the cameo jeep and of course love that the elephant is doing the driving. lol The jungle in the background is fabulous and I love the little boy looking for the "troopers" so the elephant doesn't get caught driving without a license. lol Too cute!!! You have really been coming up with some great cards Lynn! Hugs, Brenda

Oh my gosh, what a fun card. The camo jeep is great and those critters piled in are so cute. Beautiful stenciled background and the scout with his binoculars is adorable. Wild is not as fun when you get older. Wild is staying up until 11 pm, then getting up at 6 am!

Delightful, Lynn, simply delightful! I love all the awesome details right down to the camo paper on the jeep! And I loved your funny story about what's happening there! That ellie definitely looks worried about any coppers that are up ahead! If you don't win those challenges, it'll be a crying shame!! Hugs, Darnell
