Friday should be for friends, flowers, and fun! Even though this isn't a fun card, it does have flowers and it's going to some friends too. Right before I moved I made some new friends that sorta took me under their wing. They'd bring me food thinking I probably wasn't eating right (which I wasn't) and just generally checking in with me every day to make sure I was ok. Great friends and I hated leaving them. I've been sending them a few cards since I've been here just to let them know how much I think of them. This will be one of the ones sent.
This is one of the new stamps I recently purchased from Technique Tuesday. I wanted to just color it and keep it simple so when I found that piece of frame that I'd die cut back whenever, I knew it'd frame out these flowers perfectly. Colored in Copics and it's a done deal.

Great friends are a treasure, I agree. Some go out of their way to extend kindness and those are the ones you want to remember with a beautiful hand-made card like this one. So glad they looked after you but sad at the same time you had to leave them behind. The flowers are beautifully colored and I like the simple frame around them!
