Surf's Up.....Or Maybe Down

Not sure if the surf is up or down but life is good - and especially if you're at the beach like this little surfer dude from Newton's Nook.  I wish I was at the beach right now but it's so hot in Texas I would imagine that the sand at the beach is too hot to stand on.  It'll cool down soon enough since they're already putting Halloween stuff in the stores now.  By next week I'm sure they'll have Christmas ornaments on display - if they don't already.

Anyway, as I said, the bear and surf board are from Newton's Nook.  The palms and clouds are from MFT and the sentiment from Lawn Fawn.  I used distress inks for the sand and sky.

I'll enter this at The Male Room Challenge (surf's up) and at Inky Paws Challenge (theme challenge).

Thanks for stopping by..............
Lynn

Your coloring is spot on beautiful on this fun card, and I love the little guys bathing trunks! Great sand and sky effects too with those fun palm trees. The beach is the last place I'd want to be in this hotter than hot summer too! Fun card, and life IS good (when it's not bad) LOL Stay cool!

Great little beach scene, Lynn! Yep, my DD was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and was freaking out that Christmas was on display. So sorry to hear of the tragedy in Texas, yesterday. Healing prayers for your state. This world is a mess.

Darling little surfer bear, Lynn, and I'm like you - wish I was at the beach where it is much cooler. Our hot weather has me about worn down. Love how you did the sand!
