Just a couple of roses today using a stamp from Sugar Pea Designs. The first one, being yellow, would have to be the yellow rose of Texas I guess. The second one, in red, is just a rose. I'm still not sure why I tried distress ink behind this one but I did so it is what it is. Looks a little dirty or something! Yikes!
They were both colored with colored pencils and that's about all you can say about them I guess.
I followed the sketch at
Case This Sketch so would like to enter that challenge.

True beauty in this CAS!
Two clean and crisp cards. I like the grounding on the red rose.
Magnificent roses, Lynn, both of them! Love your CAS design but then, you always do such incredible CAS designs. The shading behind your red rose is perfect.
They are so beautiful, I love yellow roses. I hope you are well.

These are BOTH gorgeous designs Lynn! You've done a great job with the sketch and I really like the distress inking behind the bottom rose as it softens it up and makes it look really elegant! Nicely done!
Simply stunning Lynn..simplicity at it's best..

Two beautiful CAS cards, Lynn. I love the simplicity of the design. xx
These are both just beautiful . I really like the distressed ink behind the rose, in fact , it has given me an idea of something I could do with the stamp that I have . Thanks for the inspiration !
