This STUFF

I'm so disappointed because you can't see this STUFF on my card!  Bummer!!!!

I'm now considered a "city girl" since I live in a city now I suppose.  Not sure you can take the "country" out of me though.  Anyway, one of the advantages of living here is that a couple of the big box craft places are right down the road.  I've never had that luxury before so it's a little different knowing if I run out of something, I can just run down the road and get it.  Before I'd make about one trip every couple of months to the city and stock up on things.

ANYWAY.......back to business........I was in one of the places the other day and found this STUFF.  I'm sure everyone reading this has a can of it and has used it before but I'd never even seen it.  I guess I was so busy trying to stock up on things I never even noticed it.

Glitter Dust!!!   Oh my!  That stuff is wonderful.  I finished my very, very, VERY simple card and decided I'd try it.  Took it all outside and sprayed away (Rambo looks like he's ready for a night of partying with glitter all over him too)!!!!!!  Even though you can't see it in the picture, it really did make it shine. Nice!

As far as the card goes..........the usual..........distress inks, sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, some clear sequins, and that glitter dust.

Thanks for stopping by............
Lynn

Glitter dust makes a card elegant like yours with so little effort. I have some and never think to use it. I love the colors you used on your card and that the sentiment takes center stage.

ummmm, I must be living under a rock, because I've never even heard of glitter dust, nor have I seen it, but I will keep an eye out for it now! It sounds fun, even if the photo didn't capture it. I just love this CAS beautiful birthday card, it's fabulous!! Now go take Rambo out to celebrate his new party gear! LOL

I've never heard of STUFF, Lynn, but it sounds great. Now I'm going to have to for look for it. I love the idea of glitter dust and can just imagine how it shines on this delightfully simple card! Love your background. Not bad for a "city girl."

Nope, never heard of it! Now I am gonna look on Amazon. I am having trouble getting back into driving since the move, so most of my ordering is online. I even learned to order from Michael's and they pull the order so Jim can pick it up on his way home. Guess I have started living the slow life. Anyway, love the sparkle!

Look at you, ahead of the curve with your STUFF, Lynn! Your card is rainbow gorgeous even without glitter, but now I want to look into getting some, too! Okay, did you get the one that just says Glitter Dust from Joann or the Krylon one? Hugs, Darnell

Very trendy card, Lynn and I wish I could see the fairy dust too but I will say I can and it is beautiful. I think shiny cards look really happy unlike shiny clothes!!! LOL.

The distress ink colours are so well chosen and excellent sponging there.

How nice to live in the city and be able to run down and get your craft supplies in no time. Hope you are more settled now.

Love,

M

Not being anywhere near a craft shop ive not seen it - if they do it in the UK. It sounds like it maybe a little similar to Crafters Companion glitter spray. I bet when the light hits your cards it shimmers beautifully, lovely sentiment too. Emmax
