White on White on White

I just heard on the news that Texas may be getting a pretty good cold front in next week.  I doubt very seriously if we'll see any snowflakes like this here but the cooler weather will be welcomed for sure.  I do hope it snows this winter though so I can see if Rambo is going to love it or hate it!

Lots of white here - but with a little gold embossing too.  I used a stencil for the background "snow" and some texture paste.  The snowflakes were made with Impression Obsession and Lawn Fawn dies.  I also added some clear "whatever they're called".  The sentiment is from Sugar Pea Designs.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches (sketch) and Rudolph's Day Challenge (Christmas).

Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

This is just beautiful with the white on white and touch of gold. I love how you arranged the cluster of snowflakes on the sentiment panel - what a fantastic card! I heard Minnesota and Wisconsin are expecting heavy snow within the next couple days already! WOW! I'm grateful for the nice Autumn weather with cooler temps, but old man winter can hang onto the snow a lot longer for me! LOL

Hi Lynn,
Happy Rudolf Days.
What a very gorgeous white creation.
The snow looks so lovely at first I thought it was embossed.
Beautiful snowflakes also.
I too hope we see some snow this year.

Beautiful elegant card Lynn..I love the white on white and the glass what ever they are called..so pretty.
I'm just finishing up with Winter, ours was very mild this year, never get snow and the temp never went below zero this year..we had the odd frost and then the sun came and it got very warm.

We have had very hot dry weather here in Maryland . We haven't had any rain in September . It is really messing with my vertigo and allergies . I slept in till noon today !

This is a beautiful card Lynn! I love white on white! Your snowy background is so pretty with the texture paste, love how you have grouped those snowflakes together too. Who makes those snowflake dies? The sentiment in gold just makes this white on white card even more elegant and the "dew drops, rain drops, whatever they are called" look so pretty around the snowflakes. Well done! I might have to try and CASE this one my friend. lol A cold front, I hope it isn't to cold! lol Text me if it gets really cold. Leaving on the 3rd and will be in TX on the 13th. It doesn't need to be hot, but the 70's would be nice. lol Hugs, Brenda

Oh, what a fantastic white on white card, Lynn! Great design idea putting the one snowflake off the edge. I love w-o-w cards but have no luck with them at all. I keep trying, though. Maybe one of these days I'll do one as great as this. :-D
The cold front you're expecting hit us today and I'm delighted that we have overcast skies and temps in the low 60s this morning. What a blessing!

Monochrome cards are so sophisticated. Yours is a lovely card. You made wise choice adding the gold embossed sentiment.

I'll send you some cooler weather from here Lynn, but we need the rain (hate to admit that) our gardens are very dry for this time of year...
Love your fabulous card - the texture, die cuts and simple embossed sentiment make for a perfect card!

Beautiful. I'm not ready for snowflakes down here, but wouldn't mind a little less humidity.

I thought this was an embossing folder, Lynn. It has been done so well. The snowflakes look delicate and very pretty.
