Giving the boot (shoe) to Halloween with my card. The boot/shoe and sentiment are from Taylored Expressions. I used some different colors of distress inks on the boot/shoe. Added the black frame, big bat, spider web, and spider die cuts.
For some reason I've made a few Halloween cards this year - and remember, I'm the one that doesn't even like Halloween! Eek! The kids have fun though so I guess it's ok.
I'll enter this in the challenge at Cute Card Thursday (Halloween) and Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).
Thanks for stopping by...........oh, and in case you haven't noticed - I'm not doing any commenting on the weekends. In fact, I seldom even look at Blogger then. I'm not being rude, but this is giving me time to make a few cards, catch up on computer emails, etc. and just generally being a bum. I'm getting pretty good at the bum business too!!

Well for not liking Halloween, I'd say you're pretty darn good at Lynn!! :) I love the colorful boot with that fun sentiment and the bat at the top of your scalloped frame is so cool!! I understand what you're saying about the weekends...this is the only time I have with hubby while he's not working..and sometimes he works overtime at that! But sometimes we just need to "unplug". ohhhhhh that bat frame is the cutest ever and along with that colorful witches boot, this is a fabulous Halloween card! EVery year I vow to make only a couple Halloween cards, and then I make dozens that sit around and collect dust! Guess it's time to actually start mailing them huh? Congrats on your bum status - I find myself commenting every few days instead of every day too. I just no longer have enough hours in the day to do what I used to, so I'm spreading things out myself! Not like Halloween? I thought we were sisters from another Mister! But if you don't like Halloween then that changes things , LOL . I really like your card . I love the sentiment I can remember saying that when I was a kid .

I love the die cuts, Lynn!! Great background colors, too. Nobody would even guess you don't like Halloween. Funny how what we craft changes when we are with kids and grandkids all the time. :-D
