Oh Deer

It's getting a little close to the countdown for Christmas now so you're going to be seeing some pretty clean and simple cards here.  What am I saying anyway..........That's what you normally see here!  Oh well.......

This was really a quickie and it has more of masculine feel I guess.  I LOVE that deer die from KaiserCraft.  I think the sentiment banner die is from Simon Says Stamp.  As far as the sentiment.....your guess is as good as mine on that.  The problem is that I have all my Christmas stamps in a canvas crate type thing and in order to say which set the 'season's greetings' stamp came from I'm going to have to get up, walk over to where the crate is, and then dig through there looking for it.  I seriously doubt anyone really cares where it came from so........laziness is kicking in and I'm not going to look.  If you HAVE to know, shoot me an email and then I'll go look!  Nothing like a little honesty here.

I'll enter this in the Your Next Stamp challenge - #127 Mad for Plaid

Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

Lynn, this card is so manly, with the papers and deer image. Very nicely done!

This card is pure perfection and a great one for the guys! I love the folded sentiment panel, but the plaid with the deer head is awesome!

Oh my gosh, we are twins! I've made two cards so similar to this and I love yours. Also, I always have to go dig through my stuff to find what I made a card from if I don't post it the next day. My friend, Bonnie, gave me the best hint. Put a post it on the back of the card with what you used. How cool is that. I would still have to get up and go get the post it notes though.

Really loving that buffalo check and this is a perfect masculine card you've made Lynn! Love how that banner sticks out too! This would be a great birthday card for my dad next month actually...but I don't have a deer like that...need to get one! :) And you crack me up about getting up to look for what the stamp is! I hate doing that too! LOL!

I just find this so posh, Lynn. And nice to know good ol' Kaiser is available in the US. As usual simple but SO ELEGANT.

I was chuckling to myself reading how your Christmas stuff is in a box and you could not be bothered. I do that all the time. I don't mean not to share the name of the brand of the die cuts or stamps but sometimes or rather most times, I could not be bothered. Lol.

Love,

Monica

It's a perfect CAS masculine card, Lynn! I love the plaid background. It makes me think of the red flannel shirts my dad loved to wear when the weather got chilly. Wonderful memories. Thanks. :-D

Hi Lynn. This fabulous CAS card certainly lends itself to having a masculine feel to it .Love that you were being honest about finding and sharing brand names .Reading about someone else feeling the way I do sometimes made me giggle so thanks for brightening my day .
