On The Road At Christmas........Jan's Digi's

This is my second post for today................

There's a new challenge - in fact, it's the very FIRST challenge - over at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge!  Yep, new challenge and my first post as a design team member for this very talented artist.  Yahoo!!   Some of you may have seen her work when Sparkle and Sprinkle blog was around.

We're very excited to begin showcasing Jan's digi's with this new challenge. It's an Anything Goes challenge so stop by and enter your card or project for a chance to win.  Also become a follower if you wish and then keep coming back for more fun challenges.

For my cards today I used Over the River digi stamp.    Her stamps come in pre-colored or black and white.  For my cards today I used the pre-colored version because there's just too pretty not to!  I went over them with colored pencils to make them pop a little and that was it.

Jan's Over the River set is so pretty and I know you'd enjoy making some wonderful cards for Christmas using it.

Be sure and check out our new challenge HERE and Jan's shop HERE.

Thanks for stopping by..........
Lynn

You have been busy! These cards are fabulous Christmas cards and I love the wreath. It looks good on the front of the car too. Your previous card with the Christmas lights is so cute. I think the white light is the twinkle light that makes them all glow!

These are both really gorgeous cards! The wreath and plaid are beautiful and that image on the second one is so fun with the snow background! Congrats on your new DT Lynn!! HUGS

Both of these are fabulous! Love the idea of adding a touch more color with colored pencils :-)

Lovely cards. The added touches on your cards are so effective. On the wreath adding the white stitch curve over the plaid, and putting on a snowflake makes the card sophisticated. The old car piled with packages gives a nostalgic look, your addition of falling snow embossing folder reminds me of an old movie. Great job on the cards.

Hi Lynn,

Hearty congrats for being chosen as DT.

Both your cards are bright, crisp and happy. I could not pick one. I love the sentiment of the first and the green car with all the gifts on the roof. I really like the wreath in the first one.

Love,

Monica

Congrats on your DT spot - well deserved! You've done a beautiful job with both cards here! I love the plaid and curvy design of the first with the snowflake accent, and the 2nd is a wonderful vintage make with great background papers and design! I love the little snippet of ribbon around the sentiment panel! NJ on everything!

Both of these are so exquisite, Lynn! I love your idea of going over a pre-colored image with your pencils. I have done that with alcohol markers but never thought about how pencil could make the colors pop. Now that you've inspired me, I'm going to have to try it. It's great to be working with you on yet another DT. :-D

Wow, wow, wow! These cards are stunning, the images are stunning. I was looking at that wreath before reading your post, trying to figure out how you stamped it so perfectly in different colors and the other colors not bleeding through. Then I read you post and was blown away that they are digi's! I will be checking out this digi site for sure. Thanks for letting us know about these new digi's. Hugs, Brenda
