Practice

Oh my goodness!  It's been way too long since I even attempted one of the watercolor images from Art Impressions.  I love looking at them and even have several of the stamp sets - however, have I been using them.......of course not!  I DO need a lot more practice though!

Times are changing and so I think maybe I'll start trying to change a little too.  You'll see still my usual type cards (can probably pick them out of a line-up pretty easy) but ever so often I'll be trying to toss something else in the mix.

Also, big decision here to quit watching the news so much.  So many are idiots and like Darnell always says.....life is short!  It really is -  and damn, it's getting shorter every day!  LOL!  So, I'm determined to be happy for whatever is left of this old life.  I'm not sticking my head in the sand - too much.

Everyone stay safe AND healthy!

Thanks for stopping by.......
Lynn

Good plan, Lynn! I think I've been watching it too much as well. I want to stay informed but sometimes it's just too much. Nice job with your watercolouring! This card will brighten anyone's day! Stay safe and healthy!

I, too, have given up on watching the news. Unfortunately people aren't all listening and staying home and that alarms me. It will keep spreading if people don't do their part. Your water color is lovely. It's an eye catching card with the prettiest pot of flowers.

This is absolutely stunning! I love the soft water-colored look of those delicate flowers in a pretty pot! Perfect for a get well card! Like you, I limit myself to 1/2 hour of news at night. The rest is just needless chatter that frightens listeners on a daily basis. If I hear "wash your hands" one more time, I might lose my mind! I'm staying in, staying calm, and the silence in my home has truly become golden! Those old music CD's are sounding more and more joyful to me these days! Hang in there and keep smiling. Might as well smile while we're here :) Hugz

Oh wow Lynn, your card is absolutely gorgeous! I love how you've done your watercolor on this! I haven't tried out any of that as of yet with the watercolor....I don't own any of theAT images, but I know I probably have something I can do! LOL!

Yes, I refuse to watch the news too much and enjoying life is much more important for sure! Take care my friend! HUGS

Such a pretty pot of flowers and it doesn't look to me like you need any more practice except to keep us entertained! I'm with you. News needs to be in small doses!

It came out beautiful Lynn! I've watched videos of artists using these stamps and getting Picasso like results. I am in total envy! In fact, I'm so fearful I haven't even bought a set. I fiddle too much with placement, to be honest. Still, they make it look so easy... and the ones who add water to make it look like an original watercolor? I don't know if it is more likely to make it a hot mess or cover up all my mistakes. LOL You'll have to play around with it and let me know! Now tell me the truth... did you get this all stamped out on the first try or did you have a couple practice rounds?

Gorgeous card Lynn - and good on you for trying something new.
I know what you mean about watching too much news - it's all depressing. I need to limit my time of F/B too and use my time more productively!
Stay safe

Goodness, this is fabulous! I am with you about NOT watching the news, yet I want to hear the latest each day!

Pretty cheerful card. I only watch a daily news update once a day and thats it now. Can easily get too bogged down otherwise and its not alot of help, we need to stay as mentally strong as we can at the minute! Hugs Emmax
